always buy used, there is no reason to spend tons of money when you can get something thats maybe a year or 2 old that does the same thing for 1/2 as much and still beats the crap out of a spyder or a tippmann

Remember, most used guns don't come with a warranty... At all! When new paintball players get curious they take apart there gun to see what's a solenoid what's a micro switch if they bust that there gonna have to invest in a new microswitch, or solenoid which sometimes is more expensive then the board. Being 130+ dollars. A good idea if they know how to take it apart but 75% probably don't since there new to the sport.... My friend bought a dm6 as his first gun for 200 bucks and he cut his eye

Warranty doesn't cover things that user broke. as a general rule of thumb, if you don't know what you're doing, you probably shouldn't be doing it. You wouldn't try to work on your car if you didn't know how to fix it... paintball gun is no different. Also some stores will offer warranty on their used markers. There is a store local here in MN that does just that

ego's and just about all electros loose their value faster than any other gun. this is because almost every year a new model comes out making the previous models less desirable (even if the performance is about the same). i've seen ego 07's go for $350 or cheaper. now if you get a gun like a phantom or an autococker, it will hold its value MUCH longer because they are not making new models every year (not saying they perform better, just saying your ego is not worth $500)

This video is a year old, and ya the 07 I have now I picked up for $350.. pretty big bang for your buck if you ask me considering it performs the same as the new egos :)
