I lived in San Francisco my entire life, and Newsom has turned into the BIGGEST douche bag in this city. Ever since he has won his second term as mayor, he has done NOTHING to fix the city's problems. He is All TALK BUT NO SUBSTANCE!!! Now that the city is in the worse shape that I have seen in a long time, he doesn't want to finish his last year and a half he has left of his term to run for a position as lieutenant governor. A position he knows NOTHING about!!

How about more Jobs at Muni, maybe we could get to the goal of 85% on-time that you set so long ago? Start an Embarcadero line that runs from Caltrain to Fisherman's Wharf the tourist would love it. It might just get a few more people out of their car. How about funding a Skateboard park one of those vacant lots you wanna turn into a temp parks? How come Skateboarding ( a non-pollution form of transit) is illegal all over the city? The fine is more then a parking ticket, cars are polluters.

I know why skateboarding is is illegal all of the city, (even though it isn't (and even though it's never enforced even if that was true)) ... because it's dangerous and skateboarders adversely affect the performance of a road for ALL other users - as they have to change the road usage patterns for which the road was designed to account for the inherent unpredictability of skateboards and the limitations of their control.

@hyde1886 _ Wow, although I am Pro-Skateboarding, this point is extremely valid. Considering the often NORMALLY dangerous road conditions in such a hilly area, I concur. Possibly, the safe-skate parks should be looked into, and they will just have to organize events in desired areas, just like every other interest (ie: Parades, marches, etc...). Bravo.
