Did he just said Dio is never been known as being friendly? OMG.. Thats why he had almost 50 people in the hospital the day he died and There where thousands in his funeral. Ronnie was known as being the kindest person in the metal scene, He will stay until early hours of the day signing autograhph and taking pics with each n every fan until there where no more fans back stage. this is so WRONG!! Vivian Campbel is trully a piece of shit! a Guitar player that never became a guitar! shame on him.

@MetalkingDio On top of that, I heard a story about Dio where after one of his shows, he saw a fan sitting outside the venue alone. When Dio asked him what he was doing, he said he didn't have a ride home. So Dio put him on the tour bus, let him meet all the members and hang out, and then personally paid for the guy's taxi back to his place. Dio was obviously an amazing person.

Damn, Dio fans are really die hard aren't they!? Why get so worked up? I'm sure they both are right and wrong. Vivian even says in an interview that he agrees that he was probably difficult to get along with when he was with Dio. But give it a rest. They are both just people like you and I. Dio had and has the most incredible die hard fans in the world, but he earned it by being the incredible human that he was, he had incredible love for his fans that i have not ever seen on any other artist in any type of music. Dio was trully special. he lived for his fans to the point he wouldnt cancelled shows and never went to get a check up and thats why he died of cancer. sad but true!

@Statismisbad .. correct me if im wrong, i dont think Thin Lizzy put vivian infront of 15000 fans or sweet savage, beside Vivian guitar skills was the best when he was in Dio. His work in Holy Diver and Last in line its better than anything he did on those bands you mention, at least i dont think so. So for my money Ronnie was the one to put him out there as a great guitar player, he then never became nothing cuz of his playing in whitesnake and Def leppard.
