@frankenfoamy Protected under the first amendment. Bullshit, but true. Last I checked, the Supreme Court (minus one judge) ruled that crush videos are protected. Those consist of a woman walking in a room with high heels, and literally crushing a puppy/kitten/rat/hamster/whate­ver with the heel til it dies. All for a fetish film. It's contradictory. You could NEVER do that to a child. Child abuse, well, animal abuse is a crime to. But, doesn't matter. And this is why I do not like the human race.

I remember back in the early 80s Otterness was selling palm-sized plaster casts of his figures at a downtown street market for $5. I bought a bunch. I need to dig those out of storage.

Yes it's disgusting, however in Otterness' case I believe in redemption. The greater indictment should be against the New York cultural establishment who applauded the act and encourage further exploration... because it's sensational, and "art should transcend morality".

Just read about the dog- absolutely horrible. From now on, if I ever bother to think of Otterness I will think of a cruel, dog murdering, piece of shit. If his past was widely known he would not be getting these commissions- let taxpayers know they are funding the work of a man who adopted a dog so he could murder it on film. Too bad there isn't a taxpayer funded "art" project where creeps like Otterness and Michael Vick are thrown in a cage and ripped to shreds by mistreated dogs.
