  • what hair color dye is that? this is ur hair or clip ins?

  • your hair looks nice

  • I used Motions on my hair to hold my waves but I did notice that my scalp was flaking like crazy but I don't remember it doing that before, or maybe I just never noticed not saying that it's a bad product bc it works great looking at the ingredients alcohol is the first one on there so after saying all that lol my question is, what other products could I use to hold waves? And what is a good moisturizer that would be better than using stuff like grease or products that make your hair stick to y

  • @bebeJai You can try vitapointe or cocoanut oil (the round case), you can fid the cocoanut grease in any hair care store. vitapointe you may have to search thats mainly what I've used since I was a child. I used to use motions aswell and had the same problems with suff weighing mt hair down and sticky. Both these products I know for a fact moisturize and nourishes yout hair, but leave a Light layer on your scalp. Though I won't lie vitapointe cost a bit but it's worth it in my opinion.

  • You're really pretty!

I'm biracial but these are really good tips.

People shouldn't forget to eat healthy, live a healthy lifestyle, avoid stress, use the correct hair products for their hair type and be happy!

  • thanx fo the tips.. you favor Latoya from D.C :)

  • Hello I enjoyed your video's on hair care and I was wondering do you have any or are there any coming out specifically on curly hair. Just like AA hair their are lot's of rumors on curly hair maintenance and I'm having trouble deciphering them and figuring out what exactly to do for my curly hair.

  • Love that Brown Skin looks very nice

  • you have everything TOTALLY right

  • i love this video, its simple and straight to the point.. i also have a question, do you think it's better to trim your ends when your hair is wet or dry. I prefer to do it when its dry, but my hair stylist said it doesn't matter. Long story short i love second, third and fourth opinions.. THANKS .. Im definitely going to try these tips

  • i love this video, its simple and straight to the point.. i also have a question, do you think it's better to trim your ends when your hair is wet or dry.. Your tips are very helpful thank you

  • My thing is that I'm not the type of girl that is into getting my hair done or having things done to my hair. I'm getting to a point where I can see that the health of my hair is going down because I don't know how to care for it let alone style it. This is very helpful. I already wash my hair once a week because I work out 5 times a week so lol....I'm happy to find this on youtube!!

  • I have that same pink wide-toothed comb :)

  • Sorry I sent a healthy snack but I only wanted to send a video response on hair products hope you like it!:)

  • I'm 50% Puerto Rican but very white looking. My hair is super fine, coarse & porous. Your tips are things that are really helpful to me. I recently explored the black hair care section of Sallys and have found some really great products. Definitely seeking quality products without mineral oil.

    Thank You :)

  • @DPrincess28

how long did it take to grow your hair out or has it always been long??

  • your pretty.

  • Problem with tip number 6 is...how do I style my hair without heat?? Yours looks great. How do you wear it day to day??

  • Hi lady! question? how do you feel about washing your hair with cold water? thanks!

  • you look alot like letoya luckett in this video.

    Good tips though.

  • what products are good for keeping the hair moisturized

  • i am so lad that i saw this video and i seriously need to trim my ends. and is there anyway to make your hair thicker?

  • Luv your channel

  • Fabulous tips....I absolutely agree with the trim and the split ends. I just finish in the last three weeks twisting and cutting the split ends. I can honestly say today I love my hair. It looks and feel healthy. I to rather have short and healthy hair then long stringing hair from split ends.

    Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • hi loving ur channel so i have subscribe u an i would love if u sub me back wen u can thank u

  • YAY! fOR THE LEAVING YOUR HAIR IN ITS NATURAL CURLY STATE ;D!

  • your hair color reminds me of chili from tlc's hair color.

  • So how can I manage my hair w/out a relaxer? I am in the military and there are certain regulations for how we have to wear our hair. I have a relaxer right now and I wear a clip on bun but with the beret and wearing my hair back 8-12 hrs. a day my hair is starting to come out in the back. I would get braids but it's hard to find somebody out here to do it (I'm in Germany). Any advice?

  • This was a great video. Can these tips be used on relaxed hair? Is there anything I need to do differently?

  • what's a good natural product for my hair cause my hair and scalp gets dry fast.

  • 5 Stars. My hair has been breaking since my strenuous workouts. Now, I know why.

  • @mzlavonne if ur hair breaks off fro a workout its not the sweat... u have other issues,

just trying to help not being a beech.

  • Wow this really helped out. Ima start washing my hair every saturday or Sunday. I really wanna grown long hair thts healthy. And I wanna lay off the perms as well. But I think I'm gonna do this and try to stick to it.

  • so your hair isnt permed???

  • Hey thanks so much for the tips. Here's the thing with me---I basically plan on putting my hair up in protective styles (braids, twist, ect) back to back all year so it can grow. I was wondering how often I should trim if its going to be braided up or twisted- And when I do trim, how do I do so without having to straighten it? (i'm basically done with pressing my hair)

    Thanks so much!

    -Jan

Oh and do you have any good recommendations for deep conditioners?

  • OMG I have the same shower comb :D

  • Thanks for your tips ...don't be discourage by haters comments....This is very helpful..One question you said no no grease ..so what kind of moisturizer you advice and what time to apply..Is it daily?

  • She's trying to give BLACK women tips on growing natural healthy hair, duh! Thanks for your advice. I'm trying to wash my hair weekly. I'm on every two weeks. It's made a major differece. Your hair is beautiful! Thanks for the suggestions. :)

  • I love your videos and your tips but I think it's a bit distracting that you talk like these advices only go for black women... As a white woman/girl I'd love if you talk to us as well! Not a big problem though... I don't think u are racist or anything like that but I just wanted to point it out. Take care! :)

  • @GlamourHollywood: Thanks for the feedback. The only reason why I specifically address AA women is because there have been a lot of myths about our hair that has plagued our community for years--particularly the myth that our hair is unruly and cannot grow to great lengths. I am fully aware that these tips are universal, and appreciate my subbies of all races! XOXO

  • @DPrincess28

I completely understand that :) But as a white girl I still get something out of your tips, and I love your videos. Keep up the good work :)

  • @GlamourHollywood you find it distracting? shes an african-american woman so obviousy this would be specifically geared towards them! as general as those tips may be in that they may apply to all, why would she talk about caucasian hair care when it doesnt apply to her? Our hairs dont have the same need or require the same maintenance.

  • Why would she make a video about white hair care when she is BLACK????

I often wonder why white people come to Black videos and leave racist, hateful comments. I think its an obession. They admire us so much, they hate us. They love to hate the people they are jealous and envious of. You dont see Black people leaving racist, hateful comments on white videos. Thats because we dont give a F about em.

  • @truthfulexposure

My God, would you listen to yourself?

What exactly did I say that was racist, I would like to know please?!

I just wanted to point out that it would be nice if she didn't only talk to her black watchers, but her white watchers too.

I know black people's hair is a bit different but white people have freakin' hair too!

If somebody is racist here, it's you. The way you speak to me, obviously means that you judge white people = RACIST. I don't judge black people. We're equal.

  • @GlamourHollywood I couldn't agree more there are countless black gurus that address

all viewers and truthfulexposure is a total racist.

  • @truthfulexposure What is wrong with you? Disgusting comment with no reason behind it. Get it together.

  • @GlamourHollywood It's not that she's being racist or anything. Black girls hair can be a pain in the a#$! It can get damaged real easy and also fall out. We can be very versatile with our hair (weaves, wigs, etc.) but at the same time if you don't take care of it, it can be real bad. Currently I am in the military and my hair is back in a ponytail 8-12 hrs. a day. Now it's starting to break off and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. It's no offense to you or anything.

  • @misstijera fyi ..."white hair gets damadged from heat and breaks and falls out to...

Its annoying when blacks assume that there hair is super exceptional.

we have the same issues at different and degrees... fyi and whites can benefit from

what works on blacks as well.

  • @GlamourHollywood ah she is black duh and if you knew any better then you would know that proper hair care isnt just for black women. and shes talking about black women because she has black textured hair she cant relate to caucasian hair and im pretty sure its not much dif then taking care of white hair maybe certain products because i understand white people dont have the same texture hair as black people hair

  • @GlamourHollywood ,, she is talking about african-american hair because she is african-american and our hair is very different from white womens hair and difficult to grow and maintain. she is also a black woman and not a hairstylist so I don't see why she would talk about how to maintain white womens hair when she has no experience with it and is not white herself,, so how is that distracting to you? I don't see a lot of white women on here talking about how to maintain a black person's hair.

  • @GlamourHollywood well qo learnn some hair tips from a white person then....didnt you hear her say for african american hair ?? uqhhh...

  • Thx so much!! Your hair looks fabulous!! Go Sister!!

  • You're so pretty(:

  • how do u wash your other hair :) :) lol x only messing, thanx for video tho !!

  • you say that you are not a hair guru but you are obviously doing something right, so sorry but you are my hair guru!

  • you are now my hair guru!

  • What products are good for deep conditioning?

  • wow you are gorgeous i love you will you marry me please. please! (i am asking you nice so that means yes, right?) :)

  • @ltum2: Haha, thanks. That's very sweet of you to say, but I think my husband might have a slight problem with that, LOL! :-)

  • @DPrincess28 ....awwww, he beat me to it. well, okay then. he sure is a lucky man. i am sure he worships the ground you walk on. (i sure would) cheers, hun :)

  • Good god you are beautiful. You should be a model.

  • @jax252000: Thank you. That's so sweet of you to say!

  • You are so beautiful:)

  • thanks for the tips i will try them

  • Thanks 4 for the tips. It's hard for me to wash my hair between workout reason being is that I work out. I work out at least 5-6 days a week. Do U have any other suggestions? By the way your hair is lovely.

  • Sleep on a Silk or Satin pillowcase or silk hair wrap or cap! It keeps your hair healthy, grow longer & keeps hair styles fresh all while you sleep.

    ESSENCE OF SILK (WEBSITE)

100% SILK & SATIN PILLOWCASES, HAIR WRAPS, DU RAGS & MORE....

  • Thanks for those tips. You cleared up a lot for me!!!

  • You are such a beautiful woman. Thank you for sharing your tips. I can grow some hair girl, but it's great to get ideas from others because no one know's EVERYTHING. Again thank you for sharing.

  • ThinkaBella I totally agree with you that's true everyone mixed isnt attrative just cause of that.Im black native american.Beauty isn't just looks.

  • If you dont use Chi products ( which are expensive )

You can aswell use gariner fructis products

I was alittle hesitant at first about Garnier but works

amazing and tons better than normal grease " softee producs "

    Just my 2 CENTS (:

  • thank you for this video , its alot of help ... :)

  • Please do not use Grease, it has petrolatum, and mineral oil, both of which are horrible for your hair. all it does is clog your pores, and stop hair growth.

  • i cant wash my hair every week....it will be too fuzz and dry and i have really long hair, and that will make me use heat everyday...its breaking my long hair!!!!

  • how do you style your natural hair after you wash and dry?

  • you are awesome my hair has already started growing and is now so much healthier!

  • my hair is thin ..what is the best thing to do to my hair to make it thicker

  • hy do u know anythig about CHI Power Plus Hair Loss Prevention Kit for Chemically Treated and Coarse Hair

and type of deep conditioners i can ask my mom to buy.

  • ur beautiful ... :) and so true and frank :D thanks for the tips

  • I used grow my hair without cutting it because i didnt think it would grow fast enough if i did.. not a good idea... i ended up having to get so much cut off :( it was a sad day.

  • most people would say dont detanle when we but my mom says (YES U DO NOTHIN WILL BREAK THOSE ROOTS) lol im transition

  • I have that comb :D

  • deep conditioning and protein treating are the 2 main things to grow long hair, thats what many hair boards press on

  • is your hair naturally curly or straight?

  • thx 4 the tips

  • I just cut my hair and its all most past my ears, can I have some tips on going natural

  • i have kinda thick afro american hair and i use my flat iron , if i need to wash it every week that means i need to putt all that heat in my head everyweek. that would be to much work and also unhealty right? and not straightening it .. hmm. i dont know what i would to with my curls. i would get dry, hard to comb out and .. big. so ? help?

  • @xCUTiEjJ Depending on your hair type, you can use specially made products to loosen up your curls, so you could easily use a cold-blow out to straighten out your hair.

  • @xCUTiEjJ i think you should check out kimmaytube

  • you kinda look like Letoya Luckett....lol anyway your hair great!

  • Bless you, girl!

You defiantly can grown long beautiful NATURAL HAIR.

Ain't none of you need to be on the "creamy crack"!

    AMEN!

  • what do u use to moisturize your hair

  • hey

  • ThaNks BeauTiFul...SisTa, I wiLL woRk on KeePin My haIr HealThy alSo.. I just got a Big Chop so I'm working on Keep my hair HEALTHY so it caN Grow LoNg n BeaUtiFul also..

  • Thankk youu :) it helps

  • You look so much like LaTonya from the old Destiny's Child!!!!

  • you dont have to wash ur hair once a week or even every two weeks, my hair grows just as fast and stays long from not washing. i think its really to keep the hair from being greasy or wieghed down, and u definately need deep conditioning more than once a month. u dont have to trim ur ends, ur hair will grow the same as anyone else, it is just to make the hair look more polished.

  • @honeyebby and I dont mean to be rude but you are giving bad information. you have to keep your edges trimmed if you want it to grow long and thick not long and thin, and contantly break in the comb etc. washing your hair every week keeps your hair healthy and allows you to refrain from grease and oil that ppl use to make there hair "last" if you wash your hair every week and keep it trimmed and have a good routine water, rain, snow, or sweat cant "ruin" even ruin ur hair

  • your videos are the best haircare videos ive seen yet ..by following your videos i look like a different person thanx girl you are great

  • does this count for mixed hair

  • wash your hair every week...

    Buy a satin pillow case...

Use real hair care products like Chi Products they are the best!

only use heat once a week or less...Trim Trim Trim those edges...it will grow healthy

DO NOT USE GREASE!! blue magic etc. no no....Use Chi oil if you have to but dont use alot..if you wash your hair every week you dont need that stuff in your hair..

If you have a great flat iron like a CHIor FHI you dont need oils..because they are professional grade flat irons..no OILS

  • @alliranch i was told that CHI wwasnt all that good, that they have metal on the inside of them. one was broken in half to prove this, its only ceramic on the outside, so buying that expensive iron is not worth it. besides, my cheap 25 dollar gold n hot iron works better than CHI does, ive seen people hair after using CHI

  • @honeyebby well to each its own..I have used the cheaper ones for a long time and I thought it was fine...then I went to a stylist of 30 yrs who used a Chi on me and it was completely different...I went out and bought one to see if it was the same at home and just not salon magic..and my hair turns out perfect at home. so for me its great I dont use cheap stuff on my hair and my hair is so much more healthy after going to this lady and her teaching me a hair care routine

  • @alliranch everything you said is true. i use satin head scarfs too, only flat iron 2-4 times a month, and dont use any grease(only sheen spray) and my hair has grown 2 inches in two months!

  • @alliranch

its best to use natural oils like olive and coconut oil,ur body can better break it down and is more healthy then any brand hair product, because it wont contain harsh chemicals or silicones

  • @sweetiepye86 havent used em' but since I am going natural I guess I will try...

  • @alliranch i use grease & my hair grew almost down my back in a month & a half

  • @alliranch how you trim edges

how much do CHIoil usually cost and can i get it at the beauty supply store etc

  • @brea23246 I go to my stylist for that and she does it at least once a month. keep the hair healthy and thick,,,You can get Chi Oil at target, JCpennies, European Hair salons. some Marshalls and TJMAXX even have it and they are usually cheaper there. I get mine at JCPenny its like 14$ but you use sooo little till it last forever!! You do NOT have to put alot of that stuff on your hair..

  • @alliranch oh k

  • @alliranch i see ppl say do not use grease so much, why is that? i use grease on my kids hair/scalp everytime i do their hair. is it some hidden damage?

  • @Babyqs4 grease is nothing but vasiline with color. it clogs the hair shaft.. use oils. some ppl like to do natural oils some dont it depends on you. if your flat ironing grease ways the hair down instead of leaving it light and soft. a chi you dont need grease to flat iron. maybe a heat protectant a little. but not grease. when i was a little girl i didnt do flat iron and stuff much and i did not have a relaxer. water and oils was enough for my pigtails.

  • @alliranch .....Everyones hair is different. There are MANY women who use grease and have very beautiful hair. If you are a woman of color, your hair NEEDS moisture. Chi uses spray with a alcohol base that will dry out any hair type. Judging by your comment, I dont think you are a woman of color.

  • @truthfulexposure well you are wrong! I am a proud & fully black american woman. and you are right everyones hair is different but you should not attack me and discredit my "blackness" because I dont use grease...blue magie etc is cheap and worthless...Black hair needs moisture and that is why there are natural oils that do a much better job than freakin vasiline because thats what "grease" is. you are ignorant and dont accept helpful advise like a solid woman I suggest you stay in your bubble

  • @alliranch are u being paid by chi firm lol that was a spokeman speech

  • At least a black woman that gets it.

I'm a black man and I think black women should stop trying to be white women.

We have our own hair that can be naturally beautiful.

Please go tell it on the mountain over the hills and everywhere that black women dont need to embrace the white concept of beauty.

    right on sista!

  • @mrwallstreet1 i agree!!!

  • Thanks so much but I still don't think my hair can ever look like yours.

  • Another good reason to regularly trim your hair ends is it stimulates hair growth. Split ends stunt hair growth and prevent the hair from growing healthy. It can and will continue to grow if you do not clip your ends but DPrincess28 was saying, it will thin the hair, weaken it and eventually break off.

  • I have just discovered you videos and now subscribe to them. I have your same issues, making the same journey and have the same philosphy in general. However, I have yet to see one when you show how you moisturize your hair when you wear it straight like in this 10 Tips info vid because you cannot use the same product you use when you wear it curly because it will make it frizz. Can you share that with me. Thank you.

  • I love your videos. Your hair is beautiful and you have really motivated me to keep going with my relax to natural journey.

  • All of your tips are awesome. Very good rules to live by.

  • hi there quick question what do you mean by deep condition?

  • You hair is so beautiful and I love the nice brown color it is. Thanks for uploading the tips I will most def be using them!!!

  • @Sinnerswing thanks, so because i'm black im just ugly?

  • is it bad to deep condition your hair every week

  • @BaddestBarbadien Yes, it is. You'll lose strength in your hair after a while. It's better off to deep condition it once every 3-4 weeks.

  • If you're mostly black with a natural kinky texture, it's good to wash it 1-3 times a week, although, if you're a mulatto or some other variation of black/asian/caucasian, its only good to wash it once a week or once every 1 days. Im a crazy variation of black and asian, so its more 'loose' than full black women's hair and it doesnt need as much care because I naturally have a natural balance of oils and when I sweat, I only need to do a quick rinse, never fully wash it.

  • this may be a stupid question but is this your real hair or is this weave?

    :)

  • GREAT info! Thanks.

  • whoa i just check on ur page and it said u were 31, WHAT!!! u could pass for 23/24 or something

  • You are Gorgeous! Wonderful video.

  • you are so beautiful thanks for yours videos , i love your hair

  • it is okay to wash your hair like every few days?

    two or three?

  • ive been using many of these tips for sometime. i can't stand not rinsing after a workout.

  • you're so pretty!

  • Hi there, I'm 14 and I've had to cut my hair do to major damage done to it from a perm and now im trying to go natural. Right now I just have a few questions:

How long have you had natural hair?

When you say rinse your hair, do you just mean run water through it in the shower?

What products do you use and hair utensils?

Thanks for the videos (they're really helpful).

  • these are good tips for every type of hair thanks :)

i have very fine caucasian hair and i use oils. the key is to put your hair in your hand like a pony tail and put it from there on.

also 100% aloe vera works great as gel without drying it out

  • : ]

I am so amazed how each race has got a special trait that makes them special

In my opinion,. Black women has such a beautiful attractive eyes!,strong.

Asian women has such a attractive eyes too!,their curves.

British women has such such a nice eyes colour!,due to their fair skin, almost every clothings suits them! :D

I wish i was alll mixed!

asian-british-black XD I would be gorgeous hehehehe

  • Not all alcohols are that bad. Most salon brands that have alcohols in them use plant based alcohols such as panthenol. Panthenol actually moisturizes the hair (and skin) and actually lightly coats the hair to keep moisture in and keep your ends together.

  • oh, so i can apply lotion to my hair before straightening it?

  • ur lucky u can grow ur hair natural i cant do it. i love ur hair tho!!!

  • dprincess28 i need ur help am only 13 years old and am transitioning? i am dominican if u may ask my raise. i wanna knoo how long did it take u to transtion? annd how long could it take me a length around ur shoulders

  • GREAT video!!

  • Thank you for this video. Got beauty and brains!!!

  • @DeeBby93 no.. there's a lot of research to the contrary- there are so many women on youtube chronicling their hair experience/journey + videos showing us what to do and how to do it. compile a personal guide for yourself based on a survey of what all these women say: part of mine:

wash hair at least once a week, only shampoo the scalp, condition the hair and scalp + deep condition, leave in as well, only comb saturated hair, style moisturized/damp hair.. use oils as well: coconut, jojoba +shea

  • thank you very much!

  • i disagree with honeymiel. and thats rude and really,........f**** u
