i have mine set at 100ms, shooting for 75ms. comparing it to a short throw shifter means you don't understand how it works. yes it helps maintain boost through shifts. it also cuts ignition for a split second allowing the synchros in your transmission to mesh easily saving the life of your trans. this also makes it almost impossible to miss a gear.

i got a mazda 6 05 and its automatic and am just wondering its like a shifting thing to the right that got a plus and a negative sign on it and i can shift it myself then but is it safe to do it because on the dashboard it says that am not in drive but am under the drive sign in a M box but is it safe to do this

@Bigpimping808 Is this a serious question? If you need to come to youtube to figure this out you need help. It is in your owners manual. M = manual mode, which lets you shift the car into the gear you choose. It is "safe" but you need to push the stick towards the plus sign when you want to shift. I can't believe I'm explaining this.

Just a question here, but isn't the reason people get WOT Box's is to be able to hold boost through the shifts? I guess you can also get faster shifts, but that seems like a negligible difference when you can just get a short throw for the same amount of money.

I have mine set at like 350ms delay and that seems about perfect. Its a good device but the launch control is all but useless on my MS3.

The only thing I don't like about the WOT box is that you have to cut the engine wiring harness. Which might hurt it's resell if you want to go back to stock

LMAO! Torque is what happened, lol...1st gear...........my car just spins first gear as soon as i punch it no matter what RPM im at. So when i lost traction i let off the throttle a lil' rolled back into it to keep tires planted and banged 2nd gear with a no-lift shift and continued up to 5th gear.

i have one single highflow magnaflow cat...thats the only, ONLY restriction left in my exhaust system, lol
