This is my fav John Hiatt record! Plenty of acoustic guitars and mandolins, and a great stripped down sound.

Truly brilliant song. First heard it through The Wailin' Jennys, and while it's unusual for me to prefer anything other than the first version I've heard, this is much rawer and more heartfelt.
