@BankaiIchigo12345 It used to be a mod for the Valve Source engine games (such as Half-Life 2) and there might still be some free mod version of it available somewhere. However, if you just buy it on Steam, then it's a stand-alone game/program thing. It does benefit from owning any other Valve games (HL2, TF2, CS:S) because they provide additional assets/items/models to use/manipulate in it but they're not necessary and none where used in this video. There's websites with free content for it.
