I personally promote kangen water because its approved in Japan for even medicinal purposes. Many people drink the wrong kind of kind of water, full of toxins and unhealthy materials. I've picked up on all the food tricks, I've got a filtration system (that I never use, but I shall start) and I'm going to substitute that yoghurt or fruit for pudding after tea with cold fresh water with lemon squeezed in (instead of squash)
It seems that the last thing to do is the excercise. I'm currently doing 3-4 hrs Rugby a week + walking places etc. I've started a workout routine 1 min explosive, 2 mins rest (walking) for 15 mins.
What is the best time for this workout? before sleep or?

Actually, openit987, you are partially correct. As a nutritionist, I know the fastest way to lose weight is to eat smaller portions and eat foods that burn fat. If you consume water while you eat, this will help the stomach feel fuller, thereby forcing you to eat less. It really has nothing to do with diluting stomach acid.

I've watched a few of your videos, and I have to say your the best Fitness Professional that I have seen out of all of the countless videos I have watched here on you tube. I've been bodybuilding for several years, and I weigh about 194 pounds at 6'2 with a body fat % at about 17-19%. I eat and drink healthy, but don't have that water filtration system. I'm going to look into that, as well as focus on a lot of the other things in some of your other videos. Thanks for the great tips!
@OmegaKilla100 I know its a lot. I've been working very hard to lower it. My goal is 8-9%, its my greatest challenge. I've lowered it 1-2% but it's easier for me to gain then to lose. I just have a hard time sweating water weight out. I'm getting there though.

He is one of those fitness "gurus", who are trying to sell you some crap and think of "new" exercises. Actually gaining muscle and loose fat is very simple, eat right and train hard. Thats it. You can do it home with cheap set of dumbbells and a pullup-bar.
Check out Scooby1962 account, he gives you good advice and he don't try to sell you some expensive gym memberships or idiotic products.
If you pay attention to all of his videos he doesn't try to sell you things. Sure he makes his living off this and wants to sell his ideas. But alot of his knowlege is free and hes got a degree for this. Your ignorant.

Well what I do on cardio days is wake up and have a protein shake straight away, wait half an hour for it to digest and then do my cardio...then half an hour after that I start my usual meals
Actually I sleep for 7 and a half hours and I drink some casein protein straight before...which takes between 7 and 8 hours to totally digest...so when I take my whey protein it's just to give my metabolism a boost so I get the most out of my cardio :)

@openit987 Actually Drinking water after a meal (or anytime for that matter) will burn more calories than otherwise. For every liter of water you drink at around 40 degrees fahreighnheit you burn around 29 extra calories because your body must expend energy to bring the liquid up to your body temperature. Not only this but the water also dilutes the food that you eat making it easier for your digestive system to process it and extract nutrients from it. Stomach acid dillution is minimal.
I am glad to live in Austria. We got very good tap water from the Alps. I think it is nearly untreated. Of course treated water is not the best but better than untreated tap water which is polluted.

If you do your cardio in the morning on an empty stomach after a long nights rest where you havent eaten in hours; well then where does it draw the calories from? Nearly pure body fat. Therefore one could argue doing cardio in the mornings before eating is a more affective way of causing fat loss than alternative methods

Well what I do on cardio days is wake up and have a protein shake straight away, wait half an hour for it to digest and then do my cardio...then half an hour after that I start my usual meals

Actually I sleep for 7 and a half hours and I drink some casein protein straight before...which takes between 7 and 8 hours to totally digest...so when I take my whey protein it's just to give my metabolism a boost so I get the most out of my cardio :)

hey darin....great effort brother...as u are so helpful to other... i just wanna advice u with something..... Brother!! drinking water after the meal is bad for you. It dilutes the stomach acid which begins the digesting progess, and causes the intestines to work double time digesting the food which never got neutralized in the stomach.Drink water 30 mins after ur meals or for best Drink it before ur meals.... @openit987 Actually Drinking water after a meal (or anytime for that matter) will burn more calories than otherwise. For every liter of water you drink at around 40 degrees fahreighnheit you burn around 29 extra calories because your body must expend energy to bring the liquid up to your body temperature. Not only this but the water also dilutes the food that you eat making it easier for your digestive system to process it and extract nutrients from it. Stomach acid dillution is minimal.

I am glad to live in Austria. We got very good tap water from the Alps. I think it is nearly untreated. Of course treated water is not the best but better than untreated tap water which is polluted.

nah not necesarily. You never heard of morning empty stomach cardio? great way to burn off almost pure body fat and kick start your metabolism for the day. look into it, it's great stuff if done correctly.

yeah it all burns calories this is true. If you eat before cardio well then youre just burning up the energy from the food you recently ate. If you do your cardio in the morning on an empty stomach after a long nights rest where you havent eaten in hours; well then where does it draw the calories from? Nearly pure body fat. Therefore one could argue doing cardio in the mornings before eating is a more affective way of causing fat loss than alternative methods

All I was saying is if your trying to burn the most body fat you can burn, doing cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is a more efficient way of doing this. It all burns calories but doing it in the morning would burn body fat if you haven't taken any calories in yet. you clearly know nothing and your body probably shows it. you most likely look like shit.

actually it does make a difference. u want to do cardio when your gylcogen is lowest. that way u get to fat reserves faster. so in the morning or after a workout is best. and learn to fucking spell.

Ever heard of the phrase "fats burn on a carbohydrate flame?" This principle involves the krebs cycle, which is the energy cycle within the mitochondria of the muscle cell by which fats and carbs are burned aerobically. You gotta eat something, especially energy sustaining carbs like whole grains before a workout.

2 egg whites, with 1 whole egg scrambled. maybe a little salsa on it to flavor it up. thats a perfect start to your day after your morning cardio.
