Zuko's mom vanished and his cousin died, and his dad banished him; Adam from Di-Gata Defenders lost his parents when he was a baby like all the other Defenders, but didn't learn about it for twelve years; and Kevin from Ben:10 Alien Force, well, anyone who's seen the original series knows he's been through a lot.
