In the decadent Roman Empire, however, adultery was common-place and generally accepted. Not just any ordinary society, but a high class adult society, where you'd expect these adults to have MORE WISDOM in their relationship rather than just, as you said, live and let live (that's ignoring the fact of self discipline right there).

Promoting swinging is no different than the idea of cheating behind your back...being with someone else, intimately, other than the person your in a relationship with, may it be infront of you or behind you, delivers the very essence of betrayal and adultery which destroys the very meaning of TRUST that both people have so long worked on to establish...

@franczazou Well if you practice exactly what you preach, then why are so wrapped around the ideas I had commented before. In FACT, this only began when I stated that HISTORY, as it seems, repeats itself, similar to the events of Sodom and Gomora. Agreed that everyone is different in their way of life, regardless of what society thinks of you....BUT, as it seems to appear, I have only stated the MOST BASIC principles of Human Tradition in any culture about SELF RESPECT, and SELF CONTROL.

They moved us to war and they forced us to have sex in hidden quarters, because initially, all the women belonged to them. The old Bible books are very interesting on that point: Sodom, Gomora, the Philistines, Canaan, Jericho, Babylon, they were all portrayed as evil.
