  • Small bucket? It comes standard with a 42m³ as seen here and the first one in production at Burton coal in QLD, Australia has a 47m³. It's just the camera angle.

  • hehe dont think you have to worry about those track rollers, more about the ground underneth it ;) why is he doing it though, bad driver or is it some kind of testing?

  • Probably doing a full tune on it, checking the boom down cycle times and adjusting the throttling valves.

  • Nice way to destroy some track rollers at 0:27.

  • pretty small*lol*

  • Liebherr Telfer W.A Newcrests largest gold mine will be trialing the R9800 as it will be constantly being monitored by product support Phil Warrick and Scott Charsley as it is some of the harshest conditions in the minning industry. Don Gooch special projects will oversee the trial of the R9800 .Chis Findlay will be carring the maintance program on the R9800, with the assistance of Chris Rowe liebherrs hardware specialist.

  • lol when the arm comes down, the whole 800 tons starts to move :P

  • Think about the happy Austrailian dude who will drive this :D!!

  • Appaerntly this R9800 will be close in size to the Hitachi EX800 at about 52 yards.

  • it's the largest machine in liebherr brand

  • they do make a 12000.just to let you know.

  • Comment removed

  • its not a production model.they have to halt all production on every thing else just to make one.

  • That´s in fact completely not true!

  • if thats what you think.

  • That´s what I know :-)

  • and you worked for liebherr like my uncle did?

  • Yes, I am at LFR (Colmar/France)....

But in fact I dont like to argue..... that was not my intend.

  • looks to me like it wants a heavier counterweight!

  • i thought i had seen the biggest tractors in the world, since i work for caterpillar, but Damn!!!! im speechless now

  • How long till we get a couple of these little critters in Australia?? (If the world stock market doesent kill them) I have heard Telfer in WA is getting one and 2 are going to a coal mine on the east coast of Queensland, anyone know more??

  • Pas mal ton vidéo Manugo!

    Antho

  • How big is this excavator anyway? Is it a replacement for the current R996?Or is it similar in size to the Hitachi EX8000/O&K RH400?

  • It's the biggest excavator in the Liebherr program. As far as I know it will not replace the R996 and it's a little bit smaller than an RH-400

  • It is not a replacement of the 996. It is the newest mining excavator from Liebherr and it is a 800ton machine. Same size as the Hitachi EX8000.

The Terex/O&K RH400 is the largest hydraulic excavator in the world at close to 1000tons.

  • just gigantic

  • id be afraid to see what it transforms into

  • lmao

  • Gigantisches Teil =O

  • That thing is scary.

  • N° 2 !
