Hi there, I was wondering LivHanna if there was a problem with the Sanctuary Season 4 Episode 13 part 3/3. Or is it restricted. I have tried clicking on it but it comes up as private?
I would also like to thank you for showing this show. Have just caught up with Season 4..
@therra1101 Yep, exactly, I already mentioned that in my comment. :) I looked it up on wiki, and it kinda makes it sound like she was born Bancroft then after she got married her name changed to Heathering, not Magnus. It's confusing. I think the writers forgot. :/
@SpiritHawk7 Well Helen actually said that Patricia was Gregory´s wife. She didn ´t exactly say she was helen´s mother. but than it was victorian era ...
i think the writers just forgot, there are a lot of episodes!
@therra1101 It's implied that Patricia was her mother, otherwise, why would Helen mention her? Besides, Gregory was only 21 when Helen was born. Maybe Patricia's father was Bancroft and died and her mother remarried to a man named Heathering, changing Patricia's last name. Or Patricia was born Bancroft and was previously married to a man named Heathering? These are the only two options I see (in today's time, I don't know Victorian standards) than the writers forgetting.
@therra1101 The writer's probably did forget, or how it wasn't corrected, is a mystery. I mean the people that work on Sanctuary are almost all the same people that worked on Stargate: SG1 and they had their "Bible" of everything that happend in Stargate. Being the 59th episode is not hard to forget when you last mentioned that specific detail and it's not hard to check and re-check when that detail is your linchpin in the script for a charcter finding out information. :/
@SpiritHawk7 Poor writers! I mean they do such a great job and then they make a little mistake and the fans are immediately like: HEY HEY THIS IS WRONG! :-)
It´s not like it´s that big of a deal. I like Bancroft better though.
@therra1101 It just shows how loyal their fanbase is. ;) Ehh, it's not that big of a deal, but it's still important enough. At least the writer's chose a good British sounding name that isn't overused. :D
I like both names. Heathering sounds more feminine, while Bancroft is more masculine. Helen Bancroft does sound better than Helen Heathering, so. The opposite could also be said for Patricia. ;P
@therra1101 Yes, so would I! Her name is the ONLY thing we definitely know about her, other than assuming she was blonde and that she died sometime before Helen was 10-14. Since Helen doesn't mention her when she was older, just her father and his disappearance to Mecca. I've always wanted to know more about her. Maybe we could get a flashback to when Helen was little with her mother? That would be nice. :) Or her mother miraculously turning up alive would be even better! :D

@streffer999 Magnus went back in time to 1898 reliving 113 years, making her 274 years old now. Helen used Bancroft as her last name. The places are locations that other Sanctuaries are located. She weaved in and out of history, making connections as Bancraft in order to create the new underground Sanctuary. She had Feliz shut down Wallstreet to liquidate all of her assets without anyone knowing. Magnus survived the explosion using Henry's suit. :)

Shutting it down, moving large amounts of money, then turning it back on, nobody would have noticed a difference in the numbers change. Plus it wouldn't cause inquiry into where that money went.

They better not stop the series at the end of Season 4. This is such a great show. Thought-provoking, intellectual, mysterious, and always exciting. No other show airing now is like this one. Of course, since this show doesn't resemble "comedy" like Family Guy (which is okay, but not my favourite - so if you disagree with me I'm not trying to start a fight) or a ton of sex like other shows, we never know if it'll be on the chopping block or not. Very unfair.

6:45 - 8:13 Love this scene. Why is Source Blood serums always blue? What the Cabal used on Ashley was blue. Haha, thinking if she popped up and said "That already happend to me". ;-P I like Caleb's plan though. ;)

@Stoksie01 Hahaha, you wouldn't believe all the small details I remember, i.e. 3x01 Edward Forsythe used the same tea pot that Ashley used in ep 1x10. :)
Though with that panning, it reminded me of the one in ep 1x01, but I swear I've seen that "Grand" and "Loans" signs before, but I can't seem to place it. :/
@20JustAGirl Thanks! My memory is semi-photographic, but for anything about Sanctuary, it's not that hard to remember. I've become obsessed with this show, so the countless times I re-watched an episode (especially the ones with Ashley) it's quite easy to recall since I've basically seen everything two dozen times or more. ;P
Think of it like flash cards. Thanks to @LivHanna here, with the episodes broken down into parts, it helps facilitate compartmentalization. ;)
@20JustAGirl Hahahaha, I'm sooo glad you caught on to that. I use it all the time! I also procrastinate even if I don't want to, but studying doesn't work for me. So right before the exam or what ever, I skim over my notes for about 20 minutes. While taking a test, I can remember most of it by picturing how it was written on the paper. (Or how the teacher had it on the board) There are some anxiety moments that do block some of it out however :/
@20JustAGirl Your welcome. :) When it comes to exams EVERYONE needs a LOT of luck. The best thing to happen for a college exam is the VERY rare mulitple choice offered. Other than that, it's basically fill in the blank and essay. :/
