This is pretty good, tho I prefer Whitney Houston's, I did love this one also. Very creative with using the whammy indeed, especially manipulating the guitar to sound like bombs going off, then going back to the song.

Marvin Gaye did a creative one as well with his own style when he performed Star Spangled Banner, it's worth looking into, and by the way Jimi will always be one of the greatest in the history of rock.

All you hear in music is about glitter, fashion, who's better than who, and just things that would make a person like me sick. Clapton and Townshend both said their influences were from the blues,R & B, and rock & roll. The Beatles had a heavy dose of rock & roll influences. Pink Floyd(when they weren't coked out of their minds)used western influences & american pop culture in much of their songwriting. Floyd's chord changes were from drugs, not divine inspiration.
