IT takes a good 5-10K miles before the engine reaches its peak. Also, the transmission learns how one is driving and adapts. If you try a 0-60 with grandma's car and try again after I drove it for a month, the car will be faster...

This one has 365 horsepower. The one with the yamaha engine and a manual transmission would be the runner up in my opinion, but none of the earlier generations could keep up with this one.

Very quick 0-60, but the car is too damn heavy. Over 4300 lbs and the brakes are barely any better than the regular SEL. I'll wait and hope they put that engine into the Fusion.
Eco boost is pretty good, but this it just looks like they caught up to the japanese market, this is twin turbo, 2003-2006 accords get 5.9 sec 0-60 with MT, and its only 3.0l and if you turbo that it will fly way faster.

Nice, 5 second 0-60 times used to be held only by Ferraris and Porshe's. Now you can buy a 5 second 0-60 family sedan that does it for right around 40K. Also if your going to compare Dodge a SRT neon would 'romp' any 2g DSM vehicle you manage to put together with ebay parts. Sure you can buy a GSX and sink 10k into it and be 'way ahead' but when you grow up your realize that there is more to life than ripping out your air conditioner to get 5 hp to your underdrive pulley setup.

Educate yourself on this incredible motor Ford has produced and you will understand why it is well worth the money spent.

Very quick 0-60, but the car is too damn heavy. Over 4300 lbs and the brakes are barely any better than the regular SEL. I'll wait and hope they put that engine into the Fusion.

Eco boost is pretty good, but this it just looks like they caught up to the japanese market, this is twin turbo, 2003-2006 accords get 5.9 sec 0-60 with MT, and its only 3.0l and if you turbo that it will fly way faster.
But this car looks bigger, I never been in one but they look sick

Nice, 5 second 0-60 times used to be held only by Ferraris and Porshe's. Now you can buy a 5 second 0-60 family sedan that does it for right around 40K. This car may not be for all, however, this car is for the family man that had to sell his Mustang or Corvette for the family truckster. You can also tune this baby up and it will hang with anything!!

Also if your going to compare Dodge a SRT neon would 'romp' any 2g DSM vehicle you manage to put together with ebay parts. But lets face it at the end of the day your still driving a Neon or a 15 year old car worth slightly more than your shirt. Sure the SHO is expensive all good things are. Sure you can buy a GSX and sink 10k into it and be 'way ahead' but when you grow up your realize that there is more to life than ripping out your air conditioner to get 5 hp to your underdrive pulley setup.

that kid who said he could buy an Audi s4 for 12K. well I own a 2010 s4. it cost me 54K not 12k. Not unless it was built in the 80's. But lets be practical its a ford taurus NOT a performance car. If you want performance Then buy a BMW or Mercedes or Audi otherwise shut your mouth. Ive had it with 16 year old kids trying to rev there 4 cylinder honda engines at me only to get walked all over. wont matter how much money you spend on a piece of crap honda or eclipse with spray painted rims.

all im trying to say is. the sport, luxury and price all felll in the range of an Audi.. which is over 10 years old... its like kids are drooling over this when Audi created a sports car which over all has the same benefits as this Ford that was just created 10 years later. i'd say ford is a little behind.

The ecoboost will go over 150k... in a truck, at full throttle over half the time, plus 1000 miles in Baja. And with all the internals still well within spec. Didn't you go to the Detroit Auto Show this year? Oh not to mention that Audi you're comparing it to is a 10 year old car. Educate yourself on this incredible motor Ford has produced and you will understand why it is well worth the money spent.

@AK47PERFORMANCE this car isnt worth no 40 grand. its not that great. now.. the ford mustang gt 5.0 is a masterpeice. and it costs almost 10 grand less. it has plenty of rear seat room as well. im 6'2 and i fit perfectly in the rear seat of the mustang without the driver having to compromise all of his room.

An eclipse is the biggest piece of shit on earth, wouldnt be suprised if a built eclipse blew up after 2 miles of hard driving lol. Bottom line, this would walk a eclipse.....might even beat that s4 you obviously have a woody over. There's videos of the SHO beating a 2011 5.0 with only a tune.
