@AemonDarkstar Katarina has pretty high cooldowns start of the game, plus the burst isnt really that high. The Q doenst bounce enough to allways hit an enemy and your E is usually more of an escape. 1 to 6 is about slowly chipping away some HP from the enemy, so at 6 or 7, any mistake by them will lead to a kill for you.
I know that her early damage isn't that high, but I've been able to play aggressively against weaker players. Shunpo + an auto + a BB isn't bad harrass at all. I just wondered if there is ever a typical matchup you could get away with early aggression or not.
@TheFruitycow For example vs a morgana or a xerath. Any champ with a skillshot-stun or root ability. Shunpo lets you 'jump' over them to the enemy , rendering them useless. However this can still bite you in the butt. Just wither them down slowly, let them think you are playing superpassive and then at lvl 6... BAM :)
In every vid you've uploaded so far, you've always played super passively unitl 6 or unless the opponent messes up. I can understand why you want to do this, but is there ever a time you consider being more aggressive in the early levels? Certain matchups, or even after your opponent's blown all his threatening skills on minions?
