Slight of hand. I myself can do some card tricks but I am not very good. I am more of the kind of guy that likes to watch them and find others who are worse and ask them questions. I wait for the people who say "a true magician never reveals his secrets." to me. When that day comes I reveal his secret. But I tell only him. I do know the code. Never tell the public. Sometimes other magicians. But none the less great trick
@Wis76 The gaffs are made (i'm using red, blue, yellow and green bikes), the trick is learned, all I need to do now is get off my lazy arse and film it....watch this space!

Jerry Sadowitz has been banned from mainstream television for years - and now it appears that youtube have followed suit. His comedy is VERY risky and some may say very offensive. I think he's as funny as fuck. He played London this week - first time in 5 years. Had a ticket but couldn't make it. Damn.
is there anywhere i can find out more about Jerry Sadowitz? i can't find footage of his standup routines anywhere...i saw a 20 second clip once on a camcorder in a friends house, and it was amazing and powerful stuff- his comedy that is...i didn't even know he done magic- but trying to find out anything online- except for the bit on wikipedia is a nightmare. Its fucking disgraceful- the guy could be the new lenny bruce
@c64c64c64 Jerry Sadowitz is not only a brilliant comedian but perhaps one of the greatest sleight of hand artists to live. That is no understatement when you see his huge body of work in the field of card magic. Unfortunately his work is not easy to get hold off (not without his permission anyways)! He has contributed many effects to various publications, even if you are not a fan of his comedy its definitly worth watching him live to be in with a chance to see him perform a card effect
looking for sadowitz stand up and found a great bit of close up card trick. Dont know about "stiffy handling" though......... only kidding, good stuff
Nice, no Sadowitz vids on YT tho that I can find. He seems to be ultra self-critical - think he blocks most of his shows from being released on DVD or posted on the net himself!
I don't know what you mean by "obvious", but if you mean that anyone could guess how this works I can only tell that I could not replicate the whole effect without the proper source (and I bet there will be very few who could do it). Laymen can't even workout one change, let alone four. They simply have not a clue of what's going on. ^____^
Anyway I agree, it's fairly simple. And beautiful IMHO.

I'm talking from 30 years experience of working for laymen in the real World. Take my advice; laymen don't care a toss whether cards turn face up, face down, change fronts, backs or whatever. You can practise until eternity performing every known sleight known to man and you will get a "oh thats's nice" attitude from laymen.
However, do something basic like sticking their card to the ceiling - and you will be deemed a F***ing Card Genius!
EssexBoy696969 3 years ago
Wis - what you did, you did well enough.
However, can I offer some honest advice? Stay clear of this type of card magic - it's magic for magicians and has no commercial value whatsoever - the plot is laborious, predictable and quite boring (as is most of Peter Duffie's stuff IMHO).
EssexBoy696969 3 years ago

Wis76 4 years ago
slightly to slow as the counts show abit.
zarrow50 4 years ago
I don't think it has something to do with being slow. You can do the count very slowly and it still looks awesome.
The reason for the stiffy handling is, as I wrote in the comment, the stickyness of the selfmade cards.
Thank you for your comment.
Wis76 4 years ago
yea sorry, i never read your comment till after i placed my comment. the trick looked good and i am no card ace myself , but i always think with fake counts, you should do em quick, specialy if your focusing a cam right on the cards. good trick, though and yea cards did look stiff.
