  • The 54 and 55 Buicks, Riviera, Skylark and Roadmaster were some of the hottest, most beautiful cars in history. I'm curious what happenen in 1958, both Ford and GM changed all their designs and there all pretty ugly. Ford had the best looking 59.

  • As long as you don't try to make a fast turn or need to make an emergency stop from a high speed, you're ok in this car.

  • I just like the 1959 Buick much, much better. Also the '60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 and 66. After that Buick kinda went downhill stylewise i think.

  • That is one butt ugly Buick! I can't imagine this car ever being considered attractive. The front of it reminds me of a Tyrannasaurus Rex, ha

  • @lray1948 So I guess you like today's style much better, ha, dah

  • @lray1948

This was a very ugly car when it was first made, so it only goes downhill.

  • This had to be the most hideous Buick ever created.

  • Why did they skimp on the chrome on this car?

  • man i wise cars were made like the old days

  • My grandfather bought a two year old 1958 Buick Roadmaster 75 from a Buick exec in Flint, Michigan. Four door, loaded with power windows and air conditioning. Sadly he was not mechanical and I was only 10. He sold it for $100 in about 1964. Pink with a white top. I think they called it salmon. A real sweet ride.

  • I bought one in 1963 (I was 17) for $750.00 Metallic Green, what wasn't green was chrome. I LOVED IT.. It was may 'get laid mobile' .. None of my friends knew how to start it.. The starter button was in the gas peddle.. Push it to the floor and the engine started.. Finally traded it in on a new 65 Austin Cooper. What a drop in quality that was!

  • I WANT ONE.Limited Rivera cost more than the 58 series 62!

  • I just love a car with a FACE of FASHION Dynastar Grill......It's the Ginchiest!!!!!

  • My mom had a pink 1958 Buick Caballero wagon that we bought at a used car lot in the 60s for around $100. She kept it about two years and traded it in. It's worth about $60K now.

  • From France :I'm moved ,my father bought this wonderful car in 1959 , I still have 4 pics from it !

  • I love the '58s, I had an aunt and uncle that had a black Special 4 door sedan with automatic and a radio. I really liked theirs.

  • my parent's had a 1958 Buick Special. 4 door/ white.. the boat didn't even have power steering!!!

  • what a boat

  • The 58 Limited Convertible is my all time fave car. I am sure those turns were taken at like 10mph. LOL

  • Haha! I agree! They were very vauge in describing its handling, they didn't even show it go around corners! LOL....the 58' Limited is my fave too....the ultimate in excess.
