Ok I've been working on this for a few months and I can get it for the most part but I have this one chronic problem.
Only on my right (dominant) arm: the ball keeps taking a hop over that bone that juts out of your wrist. I didn't notice until 30 minutes into my practice when I looked down and saw that the area around the bone was all red. I woke up the next morning with a large bruise around that bone.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to not have the ball hit that bone.
you make me cry! you make it look too easy! lol. thanks alot for all you tutorials, got me hooked (and incidentally got my ball fairly scratched). slowly getting there with your help, cheers man.
if you flex your arm, it provides more room for the ball to sit. once i had it sitting in place, i relaxed my arm, and was able to find a comfortable stall point. now i dont have to flex my arm to get it to stay put.
I find that the stall point's easier with my wrist straight, actualich. Though I am still having hell with this trick (though I can do three in a row on each arm now!).
Ha ha ha ha ha I just found the March 2008 Livejournal post wherein I discussed trying to learn this move. LOOK WHAT YOU DID

@drakenvail The only people that can't do it are those that don't practice.

Brinechild, is that a sil-x or a common stage ball? Just wondering your preference of use for practicing.
