u know star trek should never die. they should just make show after show after show. i mean i wasnt a fan of enterprise, nice plot story of them showing how it all started but it was done wrong. but they can make so many show off star trek. i mean star fleet acad. they can make a show off a few young officers like red squad. or something far into the future.

Kind of surreal to hear everyone say "Star Trek is alive an well!" in this, only to know it's about to go south. Way south. And Star Trek is now J.J.'s baby.

@Uridien hmm no jj is not real star trek. his movie was just to get non star trek people into the series with action, sex and cussing. the movie was alright but it wasnt a real star trek movie

@thebuckrogers22 Well I'm convinced there will be no new Trek until this JJ version runs its course (Though I haven't heard a peep about the next movie. Which seems odd to me) though we may, MAY get a new TV show. But I doubt it. Which is a shame. I'd love to see what really happened after the Dominion war.

@Uridien yeah i wanna see what happens after the dominion war too. or see what happen to the voyager crew after they got back to earth. like will 7 look fully human or become the new borg queen would be neat. well i heard they r writing for the new star trek movie. u know what i just thought about cuz of jj movie, tuvok wont be born. he was born after spock and now vulcan is destroyed. i wish they would make a new show or movies about ds9 or voy

Yes, folks - there WAS STAR TREK before Seven of Nine - and it was better, too. TPTB showed WAY TOO MUCH of her character and relgated everyone else into the background (causing the firing of the lovely Jennefer Lien/"Kes").

@bluenail03 actually 7 of 9, the guy she dated on the show who wrote stuff and the guy who played harry kim r to blame. when they brought 7 into the show, they wanted to get rid of harry. but by that time it was reported in a mag. that he was one of 100 sexiest men. so they kept him on there for the women and got rid of kes. who got the short end of the stick. pretty much fired without even knowing it
