You can tell he was taught by the Americans, the Americans generally use Franz Liszt concepts of interpretation to teach there students. But ask for we Europeans. we teach finesse. But being Korean, he can't help being sooo passionate.
Is this Sonata No. 11 A Major because everythign i look up its not this meleody is a slower tempo and different meleody i cant find the sheet music for this.

why always talk about hands alone? piano playing has more to do with neurological development than muscular.

La Campanella by Liszt
theme based on paganini
wnsbug 3 years ago
La Campanella...It's VERY hard...having to stretch from an octave or 2 very fast!
wateva2234 3 years ago
I think people don't seem to understand.
He is not improvising. He is not playing Mozart's A major Sonata.
What he is playing is a transcription by the pianist Arcadi Volodos of the mozart's sonata...

shouldn't he be sitting a bit higher at the piano?
fionasapple 3 years ago
@fionasapple glenn gould sat so low to the piano that his arms were literally bent. it all depends on the pianist's preference.
