Ive been playing on Tactical since the CoD4 days. I use to hate and would bitch every time some drop shot me. So I said "Can't beat em, then join em" and I played a lot better. Perry, You should buy a SCUF Controller. Not only can you dropshot how you like. You can still panic knife/reaction knife with paddles on the back of your controller. Should really look into it as it offers alot of incentives to gaming.

Started dropshotting halfway through MW2. It will save your life more often than a panic knife would. I can still knife decently anyway. I will never understand why anyone thinks it's cheap, because it still requires shooting and aiming. Knifing is just one push of the button and isn't even a gun fight. I shoot lower due to this, so the people who go for chest/headshots have a harder time. It gets me killed too when I do it accidentally. It's funny when I dropshot someone in the back..haha.

Thats the exact thing i did. I refused to use Tactical Layout, untill the BF3 Beta. It came so naturally, and translated over to CoD. Now, Sometimes ill accidentally crouch or go prone, due to the button change, and also, i hardly ever knife.

i dont mind drop shotters, mainly because i never really see any of them. but that being said, it is strange. i have pretty good accuracy when it comes to following moving targets while shooting. there is very little hit detection when i shoot the person that drop shots. i always thought that was strange. its like hes a ghost and the bullets go right thru him as he's falling to the ground. but i still dont really rage against them, very rare for me to bump into drop shotters

dropshots with burst weapons are one of the hardest things to do in game, Halo jumping into a drop shot with a T-95 or a M16 is difficult, because if you miss you die. Busting knee caps with the UMP, MP7, ACR is easy, Cause it's just point and click. With a burst weapon if you don't hit the enemy square in the chest or higher from the ground you will lose the gun fight.
