If so, why is it bombing? After just 5 short weeks, it's at #184 on Billboard's Hot 100. It's a commercial disappointment, even though it debuted at #17. Obviously, word-of-mouth killed it. She inexplicably abandoned her dance fans with this album, with the exception of 2 or 3 songs. A stupid move!
No, not a stupid move at all. Commercial disapointment or not, Donna's an artist & i'm glad she finally decided to paint a different picture because i hate dance music & all that club fodder is getting so tired.

Let's hope you're not running a business somewhere in this troubled economy. You're likely to tank with your lack of common sense. Donna was shooting for a commercial success. That's why she recruited (what she considered to be)top producers. She was aiming for a commercial hit, not just being an artist putting out a random album.
Funny that you mention that because my partner & i do have a business together for over 4 years & it's doing very well & even if it tanked tomorrow we're pretty set for life. He's been in the business almost his entire life & just expanded so yeah...

I just witnessed Ms. Summer do this live and it's more special then, then it is on the CD. She's amazing. The Diva is Back.

For a song to be a hit it has to have good music that people want to dance to and/or lyrics that people can relate to.
I can relate.
Beautiful.
BTW, of the vids I watched of this I like yours best.
