  • "I'm not calling for the full abolishment of religion. I'm calling for the full acceptance of reality."

I like that. I may have to use that sometime. It sounds quotey. Thanks for that.

  • Conflict is inevitable, some people will think it's easier to fight than grow. (farming fucking sucks) Look at medieval feudalism, knights fight and extort peasants.

  • @taliesinknol Listen, fighting is physically harder than not fighting thats a fact. Its not about opinion, you cannot always fight for your food. A single counter example doesn't disprove the statistical validity of the postulate...

  • @gsusreloded

Yes fighting is harder than not fighting, but what about intimidation? Yes Knights didn't always fight for food, but they had a society that delivered it to them. Threats of violence are easier than fighting and farming. Besides, not everyone that fights is going to be smart enough to realize that farming is easier.

  • @taliesinknol What do you mean grow? no matter how sophisticated a society is as long as view points, ideology, and interest differ the potiential for conflict will always be there no matter what you or the next person wants to think. It's human nature and not even human nature just a way of life that supports survival.

  • Where's the link to your boards?

  • The two underlying problems of religion are dogma and polarization.

  • thumbs up... err, nothin to add.. ; )

  • Great videos ..keep them coming! I am still not convinced that God does not exist, maybe simply because I had very faithful grandparents who raised me that way, however, with age & experience, I can clearly see that religion was man-made and used only to subdue the masses. If there is a God somewhere who is still interested in our (human) existence, He would be *********! (there is not a word suitable enough for the shit that supposed men of cloth have done in the names of all religions)

    Peace!

  • I like your view points you are highly intelligent I would make a video in response to this but I simply do not have a camera as of yet, I would break down everything you said point by point but that would just subjugate use into another back and fourth quarrel.

  • Again religion is just a belief, practice the mystery of the existence of a omnipotent god is marvelous and great in terms of construct of cycle here on earth and in the universe...I'm not saying this means God exist but I am saying this means you should definitely consider the possibility which is why I'm agnostic.

  • @MalcomAP If god does exist, then he is far removed from human experience. Like you said in a previous post, the god that all of our holy texts speak of, definitely doesn't exist. That doesn't stop a god from existing, or something god like...

  • @gsusreloded First of all if a god does exist it wouldn't even have a gender it would be just that a it. God is not a being but more of a entity if it exist; what I have noticed is me and you are basically saying the same things, just partially different in terms of philosophy because that's what religion really is philosophy.

  • @MalcomAP Religion is also dogma. Religion without dogma is just harmless spirituality.
