How to Get Auto Tune On Audacity Trust Me This Works

i downloaded the thing, and I have the file in my Audacity plug-in folder, but it doesn't come up in the effects tab in Audacity.

Please help?

@ilovexlamp So you have the antares autotune plugin in your plugins folder?

You also need to have vst bridge installed, and once everything is installed, then you do the search for plugins option.

the vst-bridge.dll folder is already in the plug ins and it still dnt work i even went to prefrences and rescanned it so help me!!!

It should have made a folder in your program files called "plugins" or something to that affect. Drag the .dll thats in there, into audacity plugins forlder, then open audacity and rescan.

Well whenever i paste all the plugins in Audacity, it works. But when i paste plugin of Autotune. It isn't there on effects. It's name is Auto-Tune_Evo_VST . It's of 11mb. Any solution Dude? :(

@G3MERZZ Sadly im the wrong person to ask for that, my tutorial was just on a fix for a common problem people had, including myself. If you search youtube im sure you can find a tutorial on how to not extremely distort your voice but to make it just sound even.

@MrMCR99 You have to have it installed previous to doing this.

Audacity is a free download, all you have to do is install it.

Then install vst bridge, and drag the autotune evo plugin into your plugins folder within the audacity folder, and follw my steps above, and you will be set.

There is a 10 day trial that you may use with antares auto tune, but once that is up, you can switch to a plugin called "gsnap" its similar and its free.

When you download the autotune program, save it to like your desktop, run it, and follow the instructions.

It will most likely ask you to restart your computer, and if not, do it anyways for good measure.

Then turn it back on, and locate the .dll file it installed on your computer.

Drag that into plugins in the audacity folder, then follow my video, and you should have autotune on audacity, if not, just comment again and ill try to help more.

@xxNILEYsomeday This was pretty much just showing how to get it working on audacity, not every step on details of it. There are some really great tutorials bye houdinifan27 on the presets, it would only take a minute to set up. Hope that helps
