  • I'm so glad Webern adb BERG left this late romantic midst alone.It adds little to Brahms.There is still his terseness here. He branched out differentlythe repetition of motiv and all that old stufff is here .Thank god Schoenberg opened them up to reveal their GE NIUS!The late bloom of Europe is hereanyway.IT HAD TO HAPPEN!
