  • Ricky Rubio.....i dub thee....."spanish chocolate". he might not like it, just like Jason Williams didn't being called 'white chocolate", but it's what's gonna happen....just get used to it.

  • Welcome to the Minnesota Timberwolves!!!

  • at 0:48 he actually miss mann :D

  • how hard is it to get onto a overseas team?

  • muy buena es de los mejor vidiios que e visto de ricky rubio, muy buen montaje i buena la musica, felicidades por el montaje! :)

    salu2 :)

  • ashton kutcher plays ball?

  • @pmode123 yep.That's Kyle Korver

  • @taijutsu95 That's so wrong. You're calling him Kyle Korver because of his skin color. Just wrong. His game is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than Korver's. Better or worse has nothing to do with it. They have very different games.

  • why do all the players pet him like a dog after he does something good

  • @GapingAsshole050 haha lol

  • @GapingAsshole050 WTF ARE U SAYING? MAYBE PEOPLE PET U LIKE A DOG!

  • Reincarnation of Pistol Pete Maravich

  • @Chicolinx dont ever disrespect pistol pete like that pistol was one of a kind can create havon on the floor pure scorrer with amazing passing abilities this guy sucks

  • yo son anyone in BK would drag this cat and make him look average. i put the kid bassy back in highschool over this guy.

  • this man will be good if he goes to the nba..just gotta give him time to adapt to the style...he reminds me of rondo..both have craft

  • Next Darko Milicic..

  • 3:41 was the best play

  • He sucks... Its almost impossible to make it into the nba if you cant dunk let alone touch the rim.

  • Why doesn't he play in NBA after the draft? Will he go to NBA?

  • @AI913 they werent tryin to pay him enough so he went back

  • @yugization That's such BS! The NBA has a limit on what you can pay draft picks. You make it sound like the Wolves low-balled him. The Wolves would have given the kid 10 million if they could have.

  • @commishguy ha he got paid more overseas then what they were tryin to give him..trust me he would be in the league if they would have paid him

  • 1:44 was beast..

  • are you joking? a player this immense exists. I thought those year swere by gone. Maravich has returned amongst us on earth.

  • the new pistol pete maravich. he just happens to be from spain. period. nobody can touch this guy.

  • @miamigreyhound He's a skilled point guard. Pistol Pete is beyond his wildest dreams. He'll be lucky if he has a Jason Williams-like career. He looks slow sometimes though. But he's definitely studied the great Americans, from Jerry West and the Big O forward.

  • @cavaleer I think in the right system with the right coach he can be an all star point guard. Steven Nash isnt super fast. I just want to see him in the NBA.

  • @loudblazer After watching the highlights of the USA-Spain gold medal game, I don't think he'll be more than a talented bench-warmer in the NBA. He's really slow compared to NBA guards. Maybe I missed something but our guards were on him like white on rice, with little or no effort. He also seems soft, like a Euro soccer player scared of contact. Again, maybe I missed something. He's fun to watch though, for a Euro at least. You usually don't see that American style of play from a Euro.

  • @cavaleer Maybe you've forgotten that he was just 17. And maybe you've missed his new videos, where he's 19, he has more muscle and he's the best PG in Europe. In the NBA... who knows, he'll fail or he'l succeed, but he won't be "just one more", he's never one more, he's always been different from all the rest.

  • @cavaleer You must have missed his schooling of Jason Kidd then. He made Kidd look foolish. Rubio did very well against ALL Team USA pg's.

  • i likeit but i dnt think it'll happen,i mean if u trade 4 t-mac then rubio wnt hav any rest becuz no1 will take his place nd the only one they can replace him with is t-mac.But i wuld trade duhon and curry so then we'll hav rubio d enouh cap to get 3 max playrs i mean f duhon nd curry get traded then we'll hav between 50-55 mill in salary cap

  • the t-wolves r reely stupid they shuld trade rubio to the knicks its wat he wnts n if they wnt wats best for him then they wuld trade him to new york

  • @Jeffhardyextreme10 yep trade him for Tmac.

  • He is the next J. kidd.. He will be the best point guard in the league..

  • future nash

  • @eastlosjr13 he needs a looooooooooooot of shoot more XDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • MAN! HE'S A GREAT PASSER!!!

  • he's very good .

  • 3:50 travel haha

  • this not its nba league, here the referees see the traveling, there no...

  • mayhbe not cuz u can barely see his feet

he took his first step wit the right then the left then his right was probably still in the air (jus a lil bit tho) wen he let go of the ball

but then agin u cant see his feet

  • awp not a travel

    saw it on another vid

    jus rly fast haha

  • he might be good in european league but in nba there are so many players with similar physical appearance but a lot better.

  • did you watch olympics?

  • yes I did.

He is a good player but still I dont think he will be very good in NBA

  • C.Paul and J.Williaws could not stop him in Olympic final.

  • @Jumpman1989 Brandon Jennings got shut down in Europe. It didn't mean much did it? He's doing well in the NBA. Ricky Rubio will be much better than Jennings.

  • 1:42 really amazing

  • he's like steve nash...lol...

  • sick guy

why nba just let him be #5 on the draft?

  • the kid is sick dude.. he`s a real talent... with hard work he could be a next iverson

  • Hardcorex and goudz thats not true at all. Its true that Europe moves the ball around more BUT shooting in the nba is better, they play just as hard, and the game in the NBA is in a higher level. THe only teams that the european teams have been able to beat are the sucky teams in the NBA. Even the Nicks which suck, beat one of the best teams in Euruope ( Macabi Telaviv). I'm not trying to be rude or diss Europe, but i'm just saying that they dont just get there by Atletisism.

  • iAm not saying that he's not nice.....he will be a beast...but it'll take a while for him to get used to the NBA.......

  • Jugooooooooooooooon!!!!!!!!!!

  • soy madridista..y la verdad es que es una pena que no haya venido al madrid..

el mejor jugador de españa, sin duda...

  • umm...Rise has played in the NBA...

Rubio has played in the what league...

    yea

Rose has experience.....Rubio is nice...but the NBA won't fall for those tricks that he does...he plays against crappy players now...he'll be nice, but it'll take a few years

  • he played in the olypmics

  • lots of euro league teams have beat nba teams or came close.. its not a huge gap of talent.. euro players move the ball more and tend to have more refined basketball skills aka shooting, passing, iq, defensive fundamentals, and they flat out play harder.. however they are inferior athleticly and in any iso situation in comparision to nba players...

  • You are correct, Europeans actually go to special basketball schools starting in like middle school to work on those skills you mentioned, whereas NBA players do about half the work but their athleticism allows them to dominate no matter what.

  • rubio is more stylish young gaurd then any other PG besides maybe CP3

  • Rose has two things: MASS natural athleticism and knowledge for the game.

Rubio has a lot of knowledge for the game, but only average athleticism.

My point is that Rose can do more and has more potential to be a superstar.

  • rose is nowhere near rubio in passing ability, vision, and court awareness.. but i do agree with you he will be a superstar because he can get to the rim at will and finish with contact.. this will also make defenses rotate to him and passing will be easy since someone will be wide open.. still though rubio will get more assists and steals.. also rubio will be a better leader.. rose is flat out a shy kid aka silent leader

  • Isn't Rubio only like 17 or 18? Cause if that's the case...whoa.

  • hes 19 now he'll be 21 when he gets to the nba..

  • Well, Im spanish and I agree, Ricky is overrated, he should improve a lot, but the point is the guy has 18 YEARS. Tell me what player with 18 years can play at high level like Rubio. 2-3 years playing in Europe and improving his shot and he can be great.

  • Brandon Jennings? just for 1 to be the most recent. Any 1 and done PG that gets drafted. Derrick Rose would of went straight to the NBA if they didn't require him to be 19.

  • LMAO.. ya cause youre sittin in rutger park right now on your laptop? come on man you sound like ron artest lol

  • noway! this guy is amazin believe me!

  • woooh this boyy is NICE he uses that push through cross over so GOOD

  • uno de los mejores videos que e visto de ricky rubio enorabuena.

  • Muchas gracias supercrack

  • hoy partidazo de ricky 13 pts 6 reb 5 asis 5 rob en 20 min

  • rubio is like a mix of Manu Ginobili and Theo Papaloukas!

  • yes he can dunk

  • Why not? He did very well against Team USA in the Olympics when he was SEVENTEEN! He really schooled Jason Kidd on one play. So what makes you think he couldn't do that against lesser PG's in the NBA? Hmmmm?

  • Can he dunk?

  • Well dunking is not important but getting your comment wrong...haha, they didn't like it, He definitely can, but not from so far, hugs

  • kids got some vision

  • He reminds me of jason williams or j kid

  • Rubio SCHOOLED J-Kidd in the Olympics!!!!

  • i wonder how he'll match up against the likes of Derrick Rose!! will be fun to watch :D

  • just because he isnt black dont mean nothing

  • even sebastian telfair will cross the hell out of him..

  • Comment removed

  • did he miss that layup haha

  • he missed the layup huh

  • man the defense in the ACB is even worse than in the NBA

  • kind of :P

  • i bet it's better, NBA players dont even postion the heels of their feet the right way. Read some Bruce Lee Books idiots.

  • how does bruce lee have anything to do with the NBA. Fighting stance is different from a defensive stance in basketball. LOL.

  • overrated

  • man hes pretty tall for a point guard

  • he is 1.96 cm

  • how old is he ?

  • he is actually 18 years old, he started playing pro at the age of 14 and played the final of the olympic games at the age of 17 being the younger player to ever play in an olimpycs final.

  • yeah thats what i thought too cuz i remember last year he was 17 but i wasent 100 % sure but thanks

  • 19.....

  • where do you get these videos??! thanks. im also making a ricky rubio vid!! :]]]

  • marry me :D

  • sergio rodriguez is so much better than ricky rubio....

  • he is good in spain but he iz going 2 gt jaked up in da nba

  • I like how is aint selfish like other players but i think he passes more then he shoots and that could be a problem for him on the T-Wolves

GO RICKY GOOD LUCK ON T-WOLVES

    ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

  • Lol he missed the lay up at 0:50 why is that in his highlight reel

  • fuckin noob!! missed the easy lay up!! tsk2

dont compare this retard to nash, cp3, and ai.

this dumb fuck is a fuckin noob.

  • wtf is your problem? yes, he is gonna be BETTER than Nash, with 14 years, he already played in ACB, the major spanish league, CAN YOU DO THAT YOU DUMB FUCK?

    Stop hating bitch.

    GO RICKY RUBIO

  • no but Steve Nash could have.

  • no he didnt!

  • 1 question.. can he shoot ?

  • he had offers from euro teams hopefully he turns them down and comes 2 the knicks

  • he plays more like iverson than nash

  • TIMBERWOLVES IS HIS TEAM FROM NOW GG

  • most of the video is done with one single match highlights so its even more impressive that he did all that in one match

  • Sarcasm: OMG Is that Pau Gasol at 3:07 ?! LMFAO!

  • LOL he missed the layup at 0:49

  • hes comin to the knicks

  • the timberwolves need to rebuild. with al jefferson and now ricky rubio, they have some players they can actually build around. rubio is a distributor-type point guard, who makes everyone he plays with better and gets people involved. sure, he's small, but i'm sure he's used to playing with people bigger than he is by now - he's been a pro since he was, what, 14? - and it's quite possible that he's still growing. even if he's not going to be the BEST PLAYER EVER, he's good to have on your team.

  • Small? He's a 6'6 PG at age 18! How many 6'6 or taller TRUE PGs are there in the NBA? DUH!

HE'S GOTTA IMPROVE WEIGHT AND SHOOTING THOUGH! STILL, at 18 probably more experienced than a Derrick Rose.

  • 6´4 - 6´5

  • Derrick rose would bust his ass in so many ways its not even funny

  • true that

  • Rubio is smarter palyer than Rose, he can be pretty good in the future

  • 6'4'' maybe 5''.. but im sure he'll be atleast 6'6'' by the time he actually plays in the nba.. and its not probably.. he IS more experienced than rose.. rose has been a pro athlete for 1 year... rubio has been a pro athlete for 4years..

  • Your right he has been a pro athlete for 4 years, which is my point that he still isn't better then Derrick Rose who has only been a pro for 1. The kid has talent. But it's not hard to find his level of talent. A lot of people just don't have the same exposure.

  • I don't think so. He's been 6'2 (1.90) since he was 15

  • hes listed as 6'4 or 6'5 everywhere ive seen...

  • I've been a fan of Ricky for a long time and I'm Spanish so believe me, it's 1'90 more or less. Although, the last "medical examination" that he had in Regal Barça said that he's 1'89, so it's really confusing lol

  • @u2v3e Rubio is at least 6'5". Look at Rubio vs Team USA at 30 seconds into it. He schools Jason Kidd. But look at the height of the 2 of them. Kidd is 6'4" and Rubio is taller than he is.

    :)

  • i think it will be a few years before he has any real impact in the nba(if at all), he does have some steve nash like handles... keep in mind anthony parker won mvp 2 strait years in this league, so competition isn't the same level

  • 0:49 sweet move but terrible lay up! lol... if he can't make that hows he gonna make it when he has guys that can jump outta the gym trailing him?

  • this dude is sick.

  • but you are better right? no? .... shut up and enjoy it

  • sick = extremely good.

so take your advice and shut the f*** up.

oh no better yet stop being a whiny cock sucking bitch.

  • AMAZING

  • 1:54

  • no everytime i c him on a fast break he does a ginobili layup

  • yo he's good i want to c him play but does he have a left hand

  • yes he does. you can clearly see he has both hands. a right one and a left one. open your eyes.

  • lol

  • Go Wolves!!!!

Rubio to Big Al and K-Love for YEARS!

  • he is overrated. he's playing against skilled ompetition, but he won't be able to measure up to the athleticism in the NBA. his pointless wrap and behind the back between the legs passes won't work. Patty Mills is better.

  • thats wat they said about lebron and look at him now.... its too soon to talk shit dude.....

  • im not talking shit. im just stating my oppinion which every American has the right to do.

  • no, as of today u are no longer aloud to give ur opinion, sorry

  • u are are MORON if you think Rubio is overated. u don't know more than the experts that say different.

  • i dont know how people can compare him with players like chris paul or deron williams.. please, he cant buy alcoholik drinks in US!! he's just a fucking kid and I would like to see chris paul or deron with 18 playing like him on a competition like the spanish league, and playing without scare an Olympic final with just 18 years! he will be so big on the NBA, give him three years to develop and he will be one of the greatest

  • en serio?..... kobe, chris paul, kg, bruce bowen, shawn marion, tim duncan, ben wallace rasheed wallace, lamar odom, carlos boozer, dwayne wade, ron artest, stephan jackson, chris anderson, ... etc

  • He has only a chance in the NBA if he tries to have a playing style like steve nash - thats about it!

  • It's hard to judge considering he is surrounded with European talent, which is not really comparable to the talent in the NBA. I don't think he will come close to CP3 or deron williams, nash or parker it seems.

  • Its not comparable to the NBA of course, but how about the college level like all of the other players?

  • lol he misses lay-up at 0:50

  • Lol, look to the ref... it was an obvious foult... that souldn't be considered as a missed layout... even if I agree scoring is not his main skill...

  • you're right he was fouled..i didn't notice that before. I think the shot still could have been made though

  • 1:36 cleanest baseline moves I seen in a while..

  • one thing ppl in the NBA can learn from this kid is his teamwork ehtics. at 0:53m, he could have went in for the layup but he gave it to his teammate. he works with the team and he is able to balance being able to pass the ball and make assists but also be able to drive that ball in.

  • Well in that case, he will never be better than Chris Paul or Deron Williams.

  • He has the skills to do something great, but it depends on what team he gets drafted to.

  • sac town

  • he's just good... not special...

  • 3:17 and 3:37=pao gasol

  • 3:17 is marc gasol not pao

  • He's good but don't think he is going to dominate in the NBA.

Chris Paul and Deron Williams are better.

  • The matter is not if they are better now, it is if they were better at 17-18 years old. And BTW, if you need to be better than those two players before landing in the NBA there would be a league with less than 30 players... cause they are both of them in the top 30 for sure, maybe even in the top 20 or top 10.

  • ricky rubio < CP3

  • its amazing, so amazing wat you can do with 3 steps 1:55

  • yeah muahah travelling at 1:55 ;)

  • reminds me of pistol pete

both in his game and his appearance

  • daaaayyyyyyy uuuummmm 1:42 damn good use of left hand

  • Ricky Rubio is playing with professionals since he was 14 years old in ACB.

Blake Griffin, Hasheem Thabeet, James Harden are playing with amaterurs in NCAA.

    This is the big difference.

  • Yeah I think he will do very well in the NBA from the start because he's already been playing pro ball for years in the 2nd best league in the world. Very crafty and unselfish I'm impressed.

  • very skilled, very crafty. I can't wait to see him in the league. I don't have too high of expectations for him mostly because Euro defenses are frankly awful, and they use the highschool 3-point line, but he is a very good player. we'll see what he can do

  • what team he play for

  • so tired of fucking kanye west, gtfo

  • ricky rubio is my new idol!

    ..song was lame though...

    just my personal opinion...

  • Lebron needs a guard like Ricky Rubio...
