Managed to learn it by playing along while watching it only once, that's great.

Are those the same chords he use both in live accoustic version and in recorded version?

Because that sounds awesome just playing in a plain accoustic guitar.

A pretty good song to play both in a party with friends or a love serenade to a loved one.

I got lost as to where you were in the song and had some trouble playing along, or maybe it's just a beginner thing...

@s3xymamma83 Late response, sorry! Yes it's totally normal.. your fingers will hurt like crazy, and your hands might ache a little because you're using muscles you're not used to using. Keep it up, it'll go away eventually!

This is a great vid, I watched it a long time ago and subbed but I just found out that the last chord in the chorus is not an F# power chord. It's an F# bar chord so you have to put your second finger on the 3rd fret of the srd string. It means that you can get a good sound while strumming all the strings! It's still acceptable to use power chords though if bar chords are too difficult (Directed at audience).

@weeryzo09 Sorry, it is a power chord, except that it has the added second finger like a bar chord but there are still 2 open strings at the bottom. I hope I explained it well enough! Oh, and there's a spelling mistake! "srd" I meant 3rd...

That's a terrible joke! The reason they're called the Foo Fighters is because in war they used to refer to an unidentified object as a Foo Fighter! Foo Fighter is a term in itself, they're not fighting "foo's".

Nice vid, thanks, do you have any tips on strumming or plectrums? I either hold it too loosely and it works it way out of grip or too tight and it kind of clashes with the strings, especially on upstrokes.

Good question.. I think for strumming-heavy songs where you're not doing too much lead guitar (hitting single strings), a nylon pick that's not too hard works the best. I like to use the medium .73mm ones.. maybe grab a few different nylon ones and see what you like.
