My paternal grandfather had these odd hazel-looking eyes too & he's Cherokee; the mix of both Cherokee/Arapaho is maternal.

Sorry I should have said earlier on, then your chances of different eye colour is slighty higher. Its the reason why West Indian people have problems with bone marrow transplantation because our DNA is too confused and its hard to find a match. Colin Powell,Bob Marley,Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell. All these people are Jamaican.
If you look at West Indian people, nobody looks the same, not even with the same family. We all have different hair texture, skin tone and nose shape. Unlike lets say the Somalians. what is "amazing" about blue eyes? sometimes they can look scary, sometimes they look okay.. they don't block out as much sunlight as brown eyes do.. I am totally NOT amazed.

This is not unusual.Many of the maroon people of Jamaica have dark skin and green or blue eyes. This of course is genetic. This is the mixing of runaway Jamaican slaves and runway spanish slaves that either worked on the boats. For me its looks beautiful. Just like my ex, he had one blue eye and green eye and you could see it from a distance.
