First, it's not her fault. She's autistic. That isn't disgusting.

She did love her daughter, in her own way. That's shown in other scenes in the film. She just isn't able to express and interpret emotion the way neurotypical people can. Again - not disgusting.

I really hope I would find this clip. So far I've had seen this movie 5 time, and properly gone watching again soon. With such a briljant script and good acting nothing could stop it to be a success. It's both deep and touching, but also gives you some laugher. This is one of does moments. This is one of the most brilliant movies ever. I love this scene. His shift in attitude is so cool. At first he's like "what sort of stupid crap is she up to now", he thinks it's just ridiculous if you simply make the words up. But as they get into it, he realizes it's a different way to play, but in no way simple or easier than the version he knows.

Oh...PS..I invented "dirty word" Scrabble LONG before this movie came out. Which I find hilarious. For example "Oieoah" isnt just a way to use up a bunch of vowels..when forced to explain my friend claimed it was a noise you might hear during the "act". haha Try it you know you wanna play the game!
