This gameplay is hilarious, how you own them (and they own you ) also, fact how esaily you are distracted by every shjt also, but sometimes you take it to much to the extereme (like not noticing thos missle batteries quest /ammo count) and that can be fun at start but later become quite annoying.

I guess you missed this but one of the abilities of the nanosuit is that it can pick up nearby radio communications, so you're not even physically hearing them, the nanosuit is picking up their radio stuff.

That's why you can hear them but not see them.

You can open your visor and hold "F" over enemies or objectives and they will show up even if you aren't in visor mode. Basically it lets you track things as you move around. Maybe not the best thing to do in a play through but it was great for single player.

Jesse, the reason for you being able to absorb the alien catalyst is basically because when that dropship landed in the beginning (before the first vehicle segment) and you collected some tissue sample, the suit basically absorbed it and started to integrate it into its own structure. this was in an attempt to reverse-engineer the biovirus the aliens infected the general population with (as shown in the intro), and ultimately stop the virus from spreading.
