@hershysquirts187 matt was just a hired session musician to record UYI at first, then steven couldnt stop the drugs and get clean so they fired him and asked matt to join, honestly who else would they ask to learn all the songs other than the one who made the beats
Steven is one cool mother fucker. Just a loveable guy who you can't help but root for and a great drummer. He was and is an essential part of the G N' R sound.
steve is polar opposite in relapse,,,and it saddens me when he says if GNR were in one room they would all be hugging and forgiving,,,,it won't ever happen, they all are still quite succesful except for adler and he knows it,,,,velvet revolver,,axl and friends(whatever they're called) wil never go back ...time progressed and adler finally sobered eenough to realize and now wants to repair,,its a life lesson on a huge scale that im thankful i never had the opportunity to fumble
@nick0mac Um, Adler's Appitite sells out shows and plays internationally. I"m sure that's way more than you'll ever do. So you couldn't imagine his plight. I've met him, seen his band, and he's back on top of things. And one of the coolest most humble stars you will ever meet. So chill out on the bashin. @danachonda the scale he plays is not even close to the 80's, ask someone who addlers appetite are or who GNR are and i guarantee 19 of 20 people dont know what addlers appetite even is.

I bought the book but I think Steven wasn't totally honest about the true extent of his heroin addiction, he seems to avoid the subject ecspecially when he was slamming it, he said that he smoked it more, but I really don't believe that for a second given Slash's take on how badly the members were addicted, apart from Axl.
Steven... wow, he looks like such a beautiful human being. I get a feeling that if there is any chance of GNR getting back together, this guy will have a big part in it.

steven is miles better than matt sorum. stevens drums sound is awsome. it gave guns a kilkler sound. matt really didnt have that for me.
