my aunt had a little boy at 22 during her last year in collage the dick of a guy left as expected but my dad was always there for her then he got married and she stayed with him and my mom for a few years then moved out to her own house but then something completly unexpected happened the guy came back years later, he acted has if life was paused and my aunt was going to be grateful that he gave her the light of day, thank god she stood up to him and forbid him to see my cousin ever again.

This song reminds me of my family. My mom had me when she was 16 and then had to get out of an abusive relationship. Luckly when I was 6 mths old she got together wih my Dad (my step-father) and even though they were both teenagers they stuck it out and they raised me and I couldn't have asked for better parents. @MisLuck I've known a few women who have had men walk out like this. They didn't "put out so easily", their men simply decided that family life wasn't for them. Hell, one woman I know was on birth control, the 'T' shaped one that is inserted, and used condoms and she got pregnant anyway. 6 months after a beautiful little boy was born, Daddy told her he changed his mind about a kid and walked out. It does take two to make love, but it also takes dedication, which some men are sorely lacking.
8 and a half months pregnant he left me for a mutual friend , i can understand it to i mean were both 18 and shes really pretty . I'm a single mom at 25 I have an 8 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, I work two jobs and go to school full-time. With house chores, homework, and just going to work every day I don't have time for myself let alone someone else. It's about time someone made a song that I can not only relate to but can also have a little hope that maybe one day I won't be alone. My sons father walked out on us, when he was 3 months old. He still asks occasionally to see him or about him, but doesnt give me much child support or anything. && it still to this day breaks my heart. Someday, i hope i get this lucky <3

my aunt had a little boy at 22 during her last year in collage the dick of a guy left as expected but my dad was always there for her then he got married and she stayed with him and my mom for a few years then moved out to her own house but then something completly unexpected happened the guy came back years later, he acted has if life was paused and my aunt was going to be grateful that he gave her the light of day, thank god she stood up to him and forbid him to see my cousin ever again.

I love this song! ... but it reminds me of my grandfather ... my grandma an him had 6 kids .. when the 6th one was 4 months my grandma literaly got up and left .. and my grandpa was left taking care of 6 kids he worked at the local mine would go to work with nothing in his lunch pail many days so his kids could have what they needed ! .. sometimes its not just the men who walk out .. but the woman .. and its sad .. but the parents who stay and take the responsibility is a hero to me !

This song reminds me of my family. My mom had me when she was 16 and then had to get out of an abusive relationship. Luckly when I was 6 mths old she got together wih my Dad (my step-father) and even though they were both teenagers they stuck it out and they raised me and I couldn't have asked for better parents. There have never been a doubt in anyones mind thatI am his daughter. They gave up so much for me, including their youth, and neither of them HAD to. <3

I know this song all too well. My ex left me with 2 small children. I sacrificed and did all I could to make sure my babies were loved, well fed and had the best I could do for them. 3 years ago I met the most amazing man. Not only was he all I've ever wanted; he loves the kids and they love him. He's more of a father than their real daddy is. We were married a little less than 2 years ago. We're a family now -- and we couldn't be more happy.

This song hits way too close to home. My mom basically raised me from birth by herself, only my grandmother and aunts to mainly babysit while she went to work. It wasn't until I was 14 when she met the man who she married two years later. And I have to say this, my step-father treats me like his own kid and from just stories my family told me my biological father wouldn't have.

But all in all ever since my daughter's birth I sing this song to her and it relaxes her, (i have no idea why) but it relaxes her so much that it would make her go to sleep, even if she had been extremely pissed it doesn't take long to calm her down, I've known this song for a few years now and I have to say everytime I listen to it I get chills cause in my opinion it makes you wanna cry and smile at the same time, this song has a deeper meaning to it than just the words; most don't realize it.

My oldest daughter's father ran off with my roommate to when I was 5 weeks pregnant with her, so I moved out of our apartment before they returned and left her homeless. But everything worked out in the end . A guy friend of mine and me became close during my pregnancy and fell in love and my little girl never went without a father, Me and him have been together for 3 years now and married 1&1/2 years we have a daughter together. happy endings do happen.

ill be 18 in 6 months&my daughter will be 2 months the 19th.. her "daddy" is 20 yrs old&decided he didnt want the responsibility of takin care of her, only after about 2 wks of her bein born! he now has a new gf&hasnt seen his daughter in almost a month&a half! i am wit my daughter 24/7, he does NOTHING for my bby&id much rather it b this way so she isnt hurt in the long run!

Hell, one woman I know was on birth control, the 'T' shaped one that is inserted, and used condoms and she got pregnant anyway. 6 months after a beautiful little boy was born, Daddy told her he changed his mind about a kid and walked out. It does take two to make love, but it also takes dedication, which some men are sorely lacking.

I served my exhusband with a PPO 5 days after my 2nd child was born because i was tired of the abuse. But you know what i am doing better with out him.. I have a eight month old daughter im only 20 years old....her dad was in our life for a flash....we lived with him, but he wanted his freedom he wasnt ready for this life...so he kicked me and his little girl out...I packed her things and only a few of mine...leaving him was the best choice i could have made..im engaged, in school, and work a full time job, but she always comes first...just matters whose in your life...so this song hit my heart...

i really like this song i always have,but recently i cant listening to it.a week ago i found out that im pregnant and im only 17 and a junior in high school,well whn i told the guy that i was pregnant he told me that he didnt want anything to do with me and that he doesnt want a baby to ruin his life and his last 2 years of high school.so now i have to have and raise my baby by myself, i really hope tht i'll find some2 who will actually love me and my baby.

My daughter's father walked out on me when i was three months pregnant, he emptyed our bank account and left town. I was a single mother for 2 1/2 years then i met my man i am still with today. He has taken on my daughter as his own and we are going through the adpotion process for him to adopt her, she calls him daddy, i am 10 weeks pregnant right now and we are looking forward to our future together..

same happened to my mother, she was 6 months in and he says "im going to the store for some cigarettes" and apparently he needed alot of cigarettes cause the piece of shit went and disappeared. but my story didnt end in a fairy tale, my mother found other pieces of shit that beat on her and me and also ruined my self esteem throughout my life. i am on my own now, have a fiancee and ill stay there for whom ive made and will make their life what i never had, thats my promise

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but sometimes people only state it to cause an argument.
