The speakers on the old A-100 series were so cool... Its a different sound, but you definitely don't miss the Leslie... and the bass is so juicy... Unfortunately, makes the units so darn heavy! Anyway, great playing ! ! !
@EddieLandsberg Yes, I loved my M3 cranked to the hilt, but my A100 sounded warm and full at every volume. Although I had a Leslie 122 I usually just played it with Chorus-2 for personal playing. Something about that undisturbed Hammond headroom I guess you'd call it, where the bass just thumped. As much as I'd like to think Laurens Hammond disliked Leslies for what they did to the Hammond sound it was probably more spite towards Don Leslie's bank account. We all know he only helped Lauren's too
