lets say you have a car with a keyframe at position 0 Km at time = 0 sec and another keyframe at position 60km at time = 1 hour, Daz renders this as : you car starts moving at 60km per hour instantaneously, keeps rolling at 60km/h and at time = 1hour it instantaneously stops. with one of Keypolator's curves, the same two keyframes, you can get the car to start moving slowly, accelerate, decelerate and stop. When applied to human movements it makes them look less robotic
it's a daz-script, a .ds file - if you save an animation as a pose preset, under the name test.ds, then you open test.ds in wordpad or notepad, you'll see that it's a series of instructions. the language it's written in is similar to java and C++. a simple daz script would be : Scene.setFrame( 30 ), if you save this as test.ds and drag and drop it onto daz studio, the timeline cursor will jump to frame 30
a daz script .ds, similar to a plugin - you'll select the figure, launch the script that will be in your contents/studio/script folder - then specify which curve to use, and the range of frames you want to "spunkify" :)

More minute control?
gregart999 3 years ago
it helps make movements more natural, when a part of a body moves from one position to the next, less robotic.

neato!

Now that looks pretty cool. What advantages does it give you over puppeteer/powerpose? More minute control I guess.

Cool. The DAZ|Studio timeline on its own is woeful.
Keypolator will be a plugin, I guess.
