I heard this is actually an older rendition, Matt was probably around 18 when this version was made and in his early 20s when the "orginal" we all know and love was recorded.

From what I'm aware of this is from some "different take" radio 1 thingy a few years ago, which I'm guessing was where they got bands to play some songs in a different style, there's also a "different take" Recess and I think Sunburn... Definitely Muse though :v

Yeah this is very differently styled then what Muse normally does, but this is definetly Muse, anyone can tell by Matt's voice. A bit hard to believe though, but hey, not they did have to take a while to perfect some songs, if you listened to how Map of the Problematique pre recording was, it was WAY different to the album/live version we hear today. So yeah, this was just Muscle Museum in the making, but I still like it though :D

No - its not.

The drums are different from the normal, and the bass doesnt have compression on it. And the verses have a wierd piano noise on top of them, unlike the actual version.

Personally, I don't think it matters if it's them or not. If it's a cover, it's an excellent one. If it's a remix, it's a wonderfully awesome, and if it's actually Muse, it's doubly as awesome.

I Think this is an outtake of a compilation of various songs in the 2005, it has 15 tracks including rare acoustic versions like the Plug In Baby B-Side "Nature_1" and this, the "Spanish" version for Muscle Museum.

Actually I don't know if it's a CD or just a MP3 compilation, but you can find easily the whole package in RAR files across the web :]

This is a nice version, they seem to always try to have fun when they're making music.

Its actually more than likely one of the first versions they made, becuase they saw the riff for MM as a funny riff and didnt intend to be something proper when they first made it, so thats why thisversion is more light hearted :P
