they have lids its just called a speed lid where theres like plastic lines then wen u put the pod in the plastic stuff goes down so the paintballs fall in and when the speed lid is up theres a rim stopping it from moving so its easy put pod in speed lid apply pressure so the plastic goes down and the balls fall in..,thats all u need 2 no

Ya well at my field there are 2 fields when we use the airball field with bunkers we use high quality paint with easy breaking and the velocity is set lower because there is usually faster firing. Also there is a city field that has buildings and rough wood to hit and the velocity can be higher there.
