Chloe wasn't made in Hollywood or anywhere else in the USA,it's a CANADIAN remake using American actors.The movie was filmed in TORONTO and the director (Atom Egoyan) is CANADIAN.

I'm French Canadian and i'm used to our movies(especially the French ones)being sexually explicit,like (very) soft porn.French (from France) movies are also known for showing nudity and to be sexually explicit.We are of different cultures and we have different level of tolerance toward nudity and sexuality.

I watched the DVD of this film last night. I enjoyed it very much, liking the emotional interplay between Ardant and Beart. Depardieu was also very good, but the movie belongs to the actresses, especially the compelling and still beautiful Fanny Ardant as the conflicted, betrayed wife caught between love and revenge. The movie turns in odd and sometimes unexpected ways with a twisty ending. A sexy, interesting film for grown-ups.
