@facuriosan Don't listen to giutar24. This is 2003, it's off of the Live in London DVD. Halford went solo after the Painkiller album tour and was replaced by Ripper Owens. Halford came back to Priest in 04 and they recorded Angel of Retribution and most recently Nostradamus. The reason Halford is touring solo right now is because he recently finished his 4th solo album. However, he is still a member of Priest, they're just taking some down time after the Nostradamus tour.

Yes, Tim can hit all the high notes and screams, but his midrange lacks that certain intensity that typifies Priest. Rob all the way.

i dont like the way he rushes the end of the prechorus to sing the chorus.

i did this with a band once (im 14) and i just sing into the chorus and let the backup vocalists say "livin" just like on the album version. it sounds more epic that way.

he is a pretty damn good singer though.

I don't know this era of Priest, but I can say that if there never was a Halford, this guy would be pretty great. But there was a Halford, and this guy isn't in the same league. People say Roth couldn't be replaced.  Yes he could, and he was replaced very well. There isn't a man alive who can sing a Halford song like Halford. My opinions.
