1:13:30 FUCK MELLE MEL. I actually did have respect for him, and I hate today's rap as much if not more as the next person. But nigga please... BIGGIE AND PAC MEAN NUTHIN TO YOU? FUCK YOU. YOU DON'T KNOW HIP HOP!
@georgemichigan i feel u G, fuck melle mel - he may think he's the shit but to me 2pac was the realis 2 EVER DO IT & there is NO ONE who can ever flow like Biggie so fuck him 4 sayin that
I believe these artists are going through the mourning process, its sad to hear the sorrow in their voices. Hiphop is dead and it had a good life until it developed a cancer. They need to remember the good times and let it rest in peace because it isn't going to come back from the dead. Maybe something new will come from this, something positive, these documentaries are therapy. Maybe we need a Hiphop museum.
@MrSolarSonic I´m sorry but u really have to stand someone not representing your opinion. It´s all about being critic and I think it´s a well done documentary, specially for dj skribble´s quotes about puff daddy versus lux diamond quotes about puffy. Being critical is the way to knowledge and wisdom, which is the 5th column of hiphop. For example I like a certain mcee, I take him serious then, but I don´t take every line and song as law or guide to my life, because he´s not god, nor is he me.
Hello YouTube and fellow Hip-Hop heads! My friend Duff and I wrote a rap to the "What a Niggy Know by KMD instrumental. It is the first video in my "Favorites" so if you have the time, you can go to my channel, check it out, and let us know what you think. Thank you very much! :-)
In my eyes too be a hip hop legend it's not bout longevity...I mean its a great addition if you stay relevant that long but a great example of what a rapper can do in short time Pac, Pun, and BIG etc... more rappers but too be a rapper you have too influence many people in the streets and music too be carried on and have people that have no relations with you care for your music badly worldwide on the street niggas bumping your shit you have too be good on the mic for that too happen
The problem was that they didn't allow their system for everyone to be a part of it..and through this form of discrimination it allowed people to step it up a notch..Result ..The Hip Hop Culture!
I was raised in the Hip Hop Culture, but the way how some of them speak is as if they have sour grapes for the ones who were more clever to captilize on the Culture. The executuves don't care about preserving anything, but its those old scholl brothers around like me who will make sure that it keeps its true face. But lets not hate on those who made a real buck frrom it!!!! HIP HOP FOR EVA!!
yo its a fuckin travesty that all these kids wanna rap cuz they think its so cool but they dont go back and educate themselves on the history of the culture.they have no respect for the standards and traditions of it all and its such a beautiful rich history.i take alot of pride in it.the old values are gone.artists that really try to improve and master they craft are few and far between
Everybody speaks as if Diddy or Jay-Z is free to do as they please! When you get paid the kind of money that they get paid you are owned by the people who pay you. Checks continue so long as you follow their agenda and expand they intentions, go against that and suddenly IRS has a problem with your earnings and mysteriously find ways to come and take everything you purchased.
Who is this on the opening song? Can someone answer that please?
