my sister did the string thing years before she did this. About 13 years ago. And when the string stops and starts again until it stops determines the sex of a child and even up to your last child. It works. I had a miscarriage then got pregnant a month later, and every 3 years after with 2 more kids. The string she held over my belly went boy, girl, girl, girl and then stopped. I have had 4 pregnancies and 3 live births. All three girls.
