Twobitz That is not so strange,since evolution is a scientific fact now. Even the Pope and The Catholisc Church has published a statement where they admit evolution is an undeniable fact. Those who deny evolution HAVE to be ignorant. The creationist movement is big among retarded hillbillys in America, while NO scientists believe in creationism. Every serious scientist on the planet treat evolution as a fact now. And evolution has gone from "just" scientific theory to being applied science now.

I'm a religious person, and I never go door-to-door, and I don't think creationism or intelligent design belongs in science education (nor do I believe you should be allowed to fail a student for disagreeing, which happens at the local public school). Please don't make general statements like that. :/ Not all religious people are like that.

I am saying its hard to respect it when religious people ( not all, you said evolutionist. do you mean all?) have no respect for education and willfully lie support "creation" no one said you can't disagree, so many aspects of evolution is still up for debate in the science community. disagreeing alone should not be reason to fail a student, but if the student can't understand creation does NOT meet the requirement (scientific method) to be scientific theory, then he should fail science class.

duh they use the same energy on the "treadmill" as walking. they are not actually climbing up. it takes less energy to climb on this treadmill than it does to actually climb up something. I can't believe these people call themselves "scientists."

the only energy being used is to support the animals body and move the limbs. no energy is being used for upward motion of the entire body, which would be more, even if the same movements are being made. would it take more energy to throw a ball up or just have it sit in your hand, about to be thrown?

when you run on any treadmill same movement is being made, you say its the same as ball sit in your hand. so running on treadmill is like standing still to you? (vertical or horizontal)

when "climbing" on this apparatus, energy is only used to support the body and move body parts. when actually climbing up something, potential energy is increasing. in order for potential energy to increase, there must be energy input. so, with the same bodily movements and potential energy increase, there has to be more energy being used.

Sorry, but evolution is a crock of crap. Otherwise all animals would have the most advantageous attributes, as supposedly we all started from the same common methane and amino acid scraps.

I don't remeber the last time it WOULDN'T have been more advantageous for animals to fly for example.

It seems like all of our flora and fauna were specifically designed to take advantages of their limited niche in space and time.

Humans do not share in their same limits, thank God. Great clips though!

Ok. So how do you explain people getting sick? Gods will , viruses. How about MRSA strains, they've evolved to be immune from our most advanced medicines. Or is that just a planetwide fluke, perhaps they are having a microbial whisper campaign against old pharmaceutical manufacturers.

If you are so absolutely confident, do just one thing, the next time you or your children get sick insist on Penicillin, not Streptomycin or Eurythromycin good old fashioned Penicillin.

Every species has their own genome, and every time speciation occurs a new genome is created. Gene or chromosomal duplication and subsequent mutations of the duplicated information are not deleterious to the genome of a species and instead add new information to be passed on.

unless you are saying there are some part of the DNA that are immune to mutation there for macro evo can't happen? if so? point out where.

This is or I should say WAS an important critcism of evolution prior to about 1960 or so, in that it was unclear exactly what caused information increase or decrease in a genome.

What was discovered, notably first in the salamander between other phylogenically similar organisms was large errors in replication which sometimes cause either the combination or separation of large segments of the genome of certain animals notably the Salamander and in fact humans.

This question in fact specifically solved the question of the loss of 2 chromosomes in humans vs. other primates. Comparative genomics researchers conducting a high resolution genetic mapping discovered that two primate genes (2 and 13 - if I remember correctly) merged to create our chromosome 6.

With the identical error mechanism such errors in replication create "extra" information when segments of DNA are replicated and improperly added into a genome.

Flight takes up oodles more energy than being land-based. If all animals flew, airborne niches would be exhausted and pretty soon it would be more advantagous to just walk/run/swim/climb.

Evolution is constrained by mutation and selection; the animals with advantagous mutations were able to exploit airborne niches, but only becuase there was little competition over the extra food supply provided.
