  • What's tge difference in engines. Sti vs xt? I know sti is a 6spd man vs my 4spd auto. Just bought tge Forrester xt limited. Wanna get more power. My 1awd car and I love this thing. Boost launches on gravel are unreal. But I admit I know next to nothing of Subaru.

  • Ive seen this exact car in real life, i worked at the firestone a block down from PIA and did most of the alignments on their vehicles leaving their shop after suspension work. "devil is in the details" is how steve does all his work. exceptional quality. exceptional results. this car is pure sex.

  • This is cool.

  • i wish i was a baller so I could get this ride

  • I'm totally, gonna make this happen.

  • I would trick my mom into buying that... :D

  • I want that

  • i think they make these in some other country. im not sure which one but they do.

  • want to sell it

  • is it me or did i notice that he said too many "and, Ahh, umm" ?

  • old man driving turbod cars lol.

    stis over evos mayb

  • MAKE THIS FROM FACTORY!!!!!!

  • good thing i live in tacoma

  • a very cool and unique thing to do!

  • pia is newar seattle.i've seen this car myself and always thought that the forester had potential with a swap. why didnt subaru make special editions with sti engines form the fractory? sport wagons.

  • @67mustangreg they did the forester xt is nearly exactly the same as an sti except for the suspension. but they do sell sti foresters in japan. You can buy used ones there for about 5000 and have it shipped here. Im currently in the middle of doing it.

  • @mwdt17 Any luck with that process? If its legit, that's a great deal! I'd do that in a heartbeat.

  • Love pia. They fixed my steering wheel for free.

  • Press 8 for a sexy 04 xti

  • 40 man hours? I think you fluffed your lines there pal

  • sorry wouldnt spend 40-50k on a forester to make it an STi swap... such a waste of money. Either build on the Forester platform or get an STi with the 40-50k or get a better SUV like a Cayenne.

  • @divine101 agreed but nothing will beat the feel of a suv sti, + the rally tested symmetrical awd :O

  • @divine101 cayennes are a hell of allot heavier and taller.

  • @EthansOpinion92 true. but theyre also a hell of a lot faster and more luxurious. theres a trade off to everything bro :P

  • @divine101 very true... im just not a luxury guy at all haha

  • @divine101 pre-2011 Porsche Cayenne's are most certainly *not* faster. They are mid-13s @ 101-102mph SUVs, which is right around a typical STI and a swapped Forester STI with stage1/2 tune is likely in the 12s @ 106+ . The Cayenne's are obviously way more luxurious, true, and modified can be pretty fast but in stock form they aren't anything special.

  • @divine101 True to a certain extend. If you factor in registration fees, auto insurance, and long term maintenance cost.... I would much rather go with the Forester with an STI swap.

  • coolest ever!! I'm in love!!

  • coolest ever!!

  • is this as easy as it being put into a 2.5X forester also?

  • Soooooo you give this car to me for free now right?

  • 50 grand ur outa ur mind

  • I was thinking about getting a new XT and doing something similar to it, but at the end of the day, it still has the "subaru" interior and less creature comforts. For another 5-10k you could have a 2010 Audi S4 that can not only beat it, but you would beat it in style and luxurious comfort. I had a 2007 XT (bought brand new) and for the price I paid (in AUS) 44k, I expected more. The seats were horrible. The rear leg room was pitiful...but the car was fun to drive and safe in bad weather.

  • 40-50k for an absolute sleeper? i think i could do that. now where to find 40-50k? lol

  • 是非、俺のSH5を弄ってください。

  • PIA = Pacific Import Auto

  • I hope he's including the cost of the vehicles in that estimate.

  • 50grand for that, just buy an STI lol

  • @RyIzzle

not about the money, how many do you see running around town like this? exactly

  • @808csrt4

But it is about the money, if its that bad swap a wagon if u need the room, I admit its a cool and unique project, some reasoning is lacking.

  • lol that didn't cost the 40k,,,, prolly like 20K

  • @ricta856 forester itself costs more than 20k

  • @ricta856 yeah this looser is just trying to make money, 15 to 20 grand ill do a 2.5 rs swap before that

  • Definitely not $40,000 - $50,000.

  • Gorgeous ride! :D

  • What is the website for PIA? I googled it, could not find it.

  • @alterbr33d Last I checked they still didn't have a web site (too busy building cool Subarus I guess...)

  • @alterbr33d they don't have a website - the best way to get their info is via their facebook page!

  • I Love those STI Rims, they are looking awsome. and the car is wasome too. A Guy in my town did the same, he Swaped A Sti into a Forester. (engine, GEarbox, Drivetrain, Suspension, brakes.....) but he did it completely alone^^ ok his Uncle owns a Subaru Dealership^^

  • im looking for a awd SUV cause i got 3 kids and if subaru would make this happen i would buy

  • you just know the thing is a boss when you see the red little Sti (: subaruistheshit!

  • I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love how the interior looks exactly the same as the WRX's and Sti's. They use the same dashboard and center console.

  • 2009 Forester STi? Very sweet indeed.

  • ECS would do this for 10-12K including price of parts...

  • Amazing car. Wish I could get a test drive.

  • Awesome build. But now can you swap a 1958 Subaru 360 with a 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. XD. I triple dog dare you. Thumbs up if you want to see it. hehe

  • C'mon Subaru release this!!!!

  • WA crew!

  • As sick as that is, id still rather have the impreza than a forester

  • O man, I want one so bad

    but 40-50k? ouch

  • @isthissnfree I know dude, and I assume he means AFTER the car is bought...so thats somewhere north of $65K...for that we can go buy extreme luxury SUV's...

  • they should come up with a van with the sti hardware too... complete with gold rims and all that jazz... that will be sick!

  • Lol, I had a 5-speed 1998 Forester AWD, bone stock. Got a Yakima roofrack for my boards and I'll never own a better snow rig.

  • All I can say, this is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! I'll check out your shop for sure since I live in WA, too. Loved the engine sound!!!!

  • Sweet. "Independently" is spelled wrong on the sign though.

  • Very very nice sound !!

I want to buy this Exhaust !!

  • they should all come like this

  • Bad the fuck ASS!!

  • i bought a subaru in 01 and only did routine maintence on it until 100,000 miles. and they are so safe. i wish i had a forester like this. and yes it does sound wicked

  • 2000 forester L 135k miles on it. hasnt blown its head gasket yet. love it.

  • it would look better if it was in black with the smokeout taillight

  • Sweet.

  • Nice job!

I would find some 08+ STI BBS Gold wheels; they would look better than the 5-spokes.

  • great work, i just had one question, did you mean 1/10th off the STI's original 0-60, or the stock Foresters?

  • wtf?!?!? ahhhh i want one! damn 40-50 is not bad at all for a one of a kind forester.

  • not at all. I wonder if he means 40-50k after purchase of car. BecAUSE if it is total cost...sign me up.

  • true that. lol

  • Fucking amazing!!!! I wanna sti swap for my 08 XT... that motherfucker sounds mean..

  • I live in Washington. I want PIA to do my 2.5RSti swap when i can.. 5stars!

  • that sounds soo mean

  • 40 to 50 for the car and swap? or just the swap??

  • probably just the car parts and the costs of the work itself... but hey... who' cares?.. this is a "project", not an investment meant to make money out of it... it's nice to have a one of a kind car..tht's priceless ..

  • For the car itself.

  • @skierc16 the price of 40 to 50 large would include the price of the fozzie xt, the wrecked sti and the extra parts/labor needed to put the two together

  • nice project !

  • Awesome Project! I'd love to have a Fozzie like that someday.

  • cool project..

  • i love the new forester, wish subaru really make the forester sti, or atleast 5 speed manual with the forester XT i can not stand the 4 speed auto

  • suburu should make these from factory

  • they do but they're only available in Jaoan

    :(

  • Japan i mean

  • @sl0wm0 They do. JDM only. :(

  • @sl0wm0 HURRAY! FOR SUBURU! XD Yeah... should be more careful with the typo.

  • @sl0wm0 they do, in japan.

  • @sl0wm0 They do make them in Japan

  • @sl0wm0 They do. But not in the US.

  • I want a donated STI! :(

  • @sl0wm0 they do
