If you have a processor of about 2GHz you'll be ok. Processors tend to be the only problem with laptops in my experience.

I'm not sure I understand, but that does sound like a graphics settings-issue. Simply increase the settings.

Hand Mortars are the best... but they can get annoying at times... especially if you don't need a particular unit but you need a unit that goes along with the unit that you want... for example... you have 2 quian pikeman and a lot of crossbowmen... (forgive me for the wrong spelling and I forgot the name of crossbowmen) you will only need the pikemen... but by training the Old Han Army... you will also train crossbowmen... See what I mean?

Well havin seperate discs is ok... but it would be best to run all the 3 versions of EoE3 in one eoe.exe so you can have all the races and campaigns together... :)

Well, if you buy both, you will get the ultimate gaming experience. You will have a wider selection of civilizations to choose from, which is very much fun as the europeans, natives and the asian civs are all very different. It is possible to buy TAD only, but I can tell you, honestly, it isn't as much fun as if you have both expansions.

Besides, if you have all of the games, you can access every single game there are online. Long story short: every civ has its strengths and weaknesses, and having all of them playable guarantees you the ultimate gaming experience.

Both exansions give many new maps and military units + Home City shipments (if you know what they are ;)

And not to mention, both of them come with new ways to play the game. For example, treaty games come with TWC and King of the Hill game play type comes with TAD.

As I said: Both of the exansions give the ultimate experience.

Probably not, I played the demo, and my wonder was destroyed (actually, I just 'deleted' it), and nothing really happened... besides the fact that you will lose all the resources you used to build the wonder, not to mention, all the benefits of the wonder (i.e. the shogunate and how it allows the player to build the units much faster).

LOOOL, Japan did not open up their trade until 1853 when the US came to japan. China was the leader of the world until the 1600s. Japan never stood a chance not until the latter part of the 19th century. Japan is also the only country that got nuked btw.

Until the meiji restoration in the 19th century when Japan imported loads of European materials, Japan has been the receiver of technologies originating in mainland Asia, from China and Korea. Frankly, this game is very ambiguous in terms of the time frame but no way is this game based in 19th and 20th century. The sino-japanese and the russo-japanese war that you are describing occurred in the late 19th and the early 20th century.

It's kinda funny Bungie is busy making Halo 3, so ensemble has to make Halo wars, so Big huge games has to make Age of Empires III Asian Dynasties. I think every one should make their own game and have Big huge games make Halo 3!

But if ES trusts AoE3 with Big Huge Games Inc. then I'm pretty sure the game will turn out great.

As for the Halo games, I haven't played them much, so no comment on that :)
