Puppet, you're being an idiot for being a grammer nazi and saying he's going to get raped by the guy across the street. It's the bloody internet, he's just going with the flow, as long as you can read what he says and not talking in leet, who gives a crap?
you are such a loser, i cant believe that you care so much or even bother to threaten me about it, what are you going to do? fly over to my house and get raped by the guy across the street.......................................................it's important to spell because then you get a job.
You used horrible grammar-it's but I didn't HAVE much fun and I still am not sure of this game not but I still I am not sure of this game (you also didn't use capitals).
@Kaarle15 Yeah! Chinese! Hand Mortars are the best... but they can get annoying at times... especially if you don't need a particular unit but you need a unit that goes along with the unit that you want... for example... you have 2 quian pikeman and a lot of crossbowmen... (forgive me for the wrong spelling and I forgot the name of crossbowmen) you will only need the pikemen... but by training the Old Han Army... you will also train crossbowmen... See what I mean?
Well havin seperate discs is ok... but it would be best to run all the 3 versions of EoE3 in one eoe.exe so you can have all the races and campaigns together... :)
Well, if you buy both, you will get the ultimate gaming experience. You will have a wider selection of civilizations to choose from, which is very much fun as the europeans, natives and the asian civs are all very different. It is possible to buy TAD only, but I can tell you, honestly, it isn't as much fun as if you have both expansions.
Besides, if you have all of the games, you can access every single game there are online. Long story short: every civ has its strengths and weaknesses, and having all of them playable guarantees you the ultimate gaming experience.
Oh, ok, I see now... What about in terms of specifics, do both expansions packs give you lets say more types of soldiers to choose from as well and more maps to play on?
Both exansions give many new maps and military units + Home City shipments (if you know what they are ;)
And not to mention, both of them come with new ways to play the game. For example, treaty games come with TWC and King of the Hill game play type comes with TAD.
As I said: Both of the exansions give the ultimate experience.
..Japan has old equipment back then cause they want to be isolated from the new world! They didnt want any intruder to come to their land until 1850(something) when Admiral Pat scared the japs to sign the treaty to participate on trading!well at least thats wat i studied when i was at grade 7
yeah, the japanese had guns, no doubt about it, but when perry came in 1850, he brought heavily armored ships, with lots more cannons or guns than the japaniese had in supply, so they were forced to open up trade..blagh blagh blagh, you probably know the rest..
Probably not, I played the demo, and my wonder was destroyed (actually, I just 'deleted' it), and nothing really happened... besides the fact that you will lose all the resources you used to build the wonder, not to mention, all the benefits of the wonder (i.e. the shogunate and how it allows the player to build the units much faster).
The Japanese was the most tech advanced asian contry back then, I mean they were open to europeans unlike china and the japenese beat russia in a war.
LOOOL, Japan did not open up their trade until 1853 when the US came to japan. China was the leader of the world until the 1600s. Japan never stood a chance not until the latter part of the 19th century. Japan is also the only country that got nuked btw.
LMAO Are you kidding me? "back then"? Until the meiji restoration in the 19th century when Japan imported loads of European materials, Japan has been the receiver of technologies originating in mainland Asia, from China and Korea. Frankly, this game is very ambiguous in terms of the time frame but no way is this game based in 19th and 20th century. The sino-japanese and the russo-japanese war that you are describing occurred in the late 19th and the early 20th century.
It's kinda funny Bungie is busy making Halo 3, so ensemble has to make Halo wars, so Big huge games has to make Age of Empires III Asian Dynasties. I think every one should make their own game and have Big huge games make Halo 3!
wtf no koreans lol india wtf wtf is going on.

I have a really good lap top and it has Windows Vista would Aoe3 work on it?
nellyfolly 3 years ago
If you have a processor of about 2GHz you'll be ok. Processors tend to be the only problem with laptops in my experience.
Kaarle15 3 years ago
how about 1.80 GHz with windows vista laptop, would it work

I'm not sure I understand, but that does sound like a graphics settings-issue. Simply increase the settings.

Asian dynasties is awesome! can you have both war chief and Asian dynasties expansion packs on the same age of empires disc?

You mean the both games on one (1) disc? No, I don't think you can. Own disc for each game. ;)

it was commodore perry that came in the 1850's
and what are you talking about they let the portugese in the 1600's and they got portugese style armor, guns, and christianity
japan had guns way before the americans came to japan

It's funny, yes.
But if ES trusts AoE3 with Big Huge Games Inc. then I'm pretty sure the game will turn out great.
As for the Halo games, I haven't played them much, so no comment on that :)
