surprisingly they only have indepth knowledge on the duonet and quadnet. They have to read manuals form their pc's for the twinflex and sita.Silly really, they lack staff training and phone skills.
ye its quite bad for a GOOD company and products. but i swear that the Sita never did a continuous blast. ive only heard it twice which i could of missed heard lol.
i think it syncs all the sounders. I know that on a vigilon system with more than 150 sounders they all beep quickly then start properly. Im not sure if the sita panel does this or not cuz I dont have one.
no i think the sita dosnt cos i know a place up on dartmoor near were i live and it just went straight into alternating. it caused falsly by spiders getting into the multi points most of the time.
are u sure? ive spoken with a rafiki techie who i know well and he said that it is there for synchronisation of sounds, especially the alternating as that is their most popular sound output
yeeessss. that was a temporary set up. Now I have special sounders wired into the zones. My panel is 4 zone so i have just 4 wires leaving the panel, JUST 4!! I have 1 mains wire too so that makes it 5
well its actually just 1 line of wire. Imagine this: You have a + and - going into the callpoint terminals and then you connct the 2 wires to the sensor sounder and thne another into the next sensor and then you set the end device to the EOL. The sounder strobe is on the conventional sounder circuit as it isnt compatiable with the zone. Go onto rafiki's website and read up on twiflex!
sorry about the wait! I made the video and accidently deleted it and then I had to move rooms and have to divert all of the wires and move the panel and all of the detectors from one room to the other and THEN I am having trouble adding more devices to the system so its all a bit of a mess at the min. It should be done within the next week
Yes, but you will have one cabl spar if you wire up the zones an sounder cricuits with the same cable core. If you go onto maplins site and type in bell wire, this is what I have and it perfect. I got 20 metres for £3.80
Hi and thankyou for the comment! I ad powered up the panel via a plug and a 3 core cable (live, neutral earth). The zone wire is just some 2 core bell wire from maplin electronics. The panel is 4 zone and alldevices can be wired onto the zone (only twinflex equipment), hope that answered your question
no it was there. I think im going to get an s-quad sensor sounder strobe speech. You know, vigilon plain panels are a lot chaper (by about £550) so you should get a vigilon compact and get the new s-quad sensor sounder strobe speech. Do you know how to address all of the devices? do you know how to change the tones?
You can buy the twinflex panel for £211 and that is a 4 zone. The multipoint sounders are £28 each, flashpoints are £26 each, callpoints are £17.99 each, Hi-Point is £16, output module is £42 each. You can buy a kit consisting of 6 mp sounders 2 mcps and a 2 zone panel for around £399
Its a special protocol that these devices work on. The certain devices will only work on a twinflex panel. They are resettable but they wont work without this panel. You can pick up some from KAC or fulleon
They are called callpoints not pulls. Do you want to buy a real panel with two free devices from me? A sounder and a detector will be included. Your sounders will work on there and your home made "pull"
Thanks for the offer but i havent got the mony for a panle at the min and i want to keep to my home made panle. But have you got any heat detector spear if so could you give me a price on it thanks. if i do buy any thing from you could you do it as a ebay listing then i am protected by paypall.. Thanks
I have an apollo s65 heat detector that I can charge £12 for and £3 postage. it is brand new. If you ask a user called magalarms and watch his latest video of his pull station, ask him where and who he got it from. me! He sent me money by post. Im not the scamming type, i have a network of friends and am not goign nto jepoardise that for money. Ive been on here for 3 years nearly.
you probley arnt a scammer but i have never met you so i dont no what you are like and my parents wont let me buy anything that is not sold on ebay sory. if you cant sell it on ebay i cant buy it.
yup. The man doesnt have any other engineers to help him remove the panel from site and fit anothr, cmmission and reset all of the devices and auxiliary devices so its not really a 1 man job but I dont mind waiting

why do twinflex multipoints do a continuous blast at the beginning of the alternate and the addressable sita multippints dont?

brownguyrav2007 3 years ago
you can only reset this via the control panel. Its not a domestic system its for offices and schools.
