we got scammed by this plumber, he took £150 for doing that.. and the tap wasnt even leaking, water was leaking on the room below the bathroom. he said he fixed the washer but dont know if the water leaking has stopped.. fucking plumber..

you forgot to reseat the tap which is usually why the tap leaks to start with, then people turn the tap off harder which in turn destroys the tap washer. if you did it like this video you will be back in there in a month fixing the same thing

same here mate, one tap top came off after I almost shat my pants, but the left handed one doesn't - and i end up shatting my pants. Its like the two metals have corroded onto each other.

thats all well and good except you forgot to change to change the "o" ring on that and the red gasket plus tap lubricant. that's how u service taps.
