Thank you Somewheremaybe for uploading this video. It deeply touched my heart. I pray that each of our soldiers who have passed away will rest In peace. I am grateful that they loved our Country so much, that they laid their lives down for us all. I pray that God will hold all of them in the bosoms of his arms....Peace be with you.
I cried..hard. It makes me so sad to think of all the soldiers that die without Christ, where will they go?? I want to get the message of Jesus to them somehow.
@Emilyheartshim I know how you feel. I believe in God's mercy. Remember that his mercy is everlasting to everlasting. The Bible also states that love covers over a multitude of Sin. Also keep in mind, that Jesus Christ laid down his life for the righteous and the unrighteous. even Though we can't know where those soldiers and others who die without Christ will go, I think it wouldn't hurt to pray for the many who have passed away. You never know...God bless you & peace be with you.
@outerspaceoutpost If I were to pray for them I would pray for the ones still alive. I'm sorry to say but there is no hope beyond the grave if you have passed on without Christ.
@Emilyheartshim Well, I suppose all we could hope for is that perhaps they had family and friends who were believers that prayed for them while they were still living. Something will learn when we are called home...God Bless you always.
i think of my dear grandma who lost her husband in ww1 and her son in ww2...she never complained or protested, but she is with themboth again in heaven, surely ..along with her other son, my father who died very young.
This is absolutely beautiful and sorrowful at the same time. I lost a very close friend in Vietnam, and I miss him every day. This is a wonderful tribute to the men and women who never received their proper thanks. I"ll be pasing along the link. Thank you, God bless you -- and God bless all of our soldiers and vets, and keep them safe from harm.
my brother served 3 yrs in the Army '59 - 62, with a yr in Turkey near Russian border, security/communications, was on radio when Gary Powers plane was shot down cld hear some of back and forth. Then a yr at Fort Bragg.... when he came home my father met him at cellar entrance to house, he said "I just missed 'Nam dad.
Look at what your hatred and greed has done humans. Lust for power and control. Descrimination mixed with all sorts of vile things. The human race shouls be ashaimed of themselves. Now we fight for minerals and oil rights in the east. If anyone brings war to me and endangers my family, I would have to blow your chest strait out your back..... Great Video...........Tearjerker
It is so nice to see the soldiers who served in Vietnam finally get the respect they deserved. They put their lives on the line for the freedom of others and many (like my older brother) were called "baby killers" when they got home. It is too bad that he passed away several years ago of a brain tumor before he got to see tributes like this on You Tube. Thank you for posting this beautifully done video.
I am still there in the night, every night, 42 years. Proud of the guys I served with. Wanting to be on the Wall with my brothers. Putting my hand on that cold marble I feel their's. Someday I will sit at the tree and be with them again. Some day.
I feel for you my brother. I know you not. But know I love you. Try not to long for death. Live, live for them. Let them say to you when its all over. "thanks for letting us experience that with you for we never left your side". You got a friend in me BROTHER.
Somewheremaybe, you honor us with this. Not just those who died, but those of us who lived.........and must still live with the memories. Thank you so much for this.
My husband was in the 4th Division and the 101st, I guess up in the highlands. He was also at Hamburger Hill and I guess that's why he's never watched those movies.
My husband was there but came home safely in body, but not in spirit. He doesn't speak of it too often, still has a nervous stomach - too proud to admit it's PTSD. I'm betting there are a lot of those 60 year olds nowadays that still remember and don't complain about the politics. They just went when they were called and got yelled at in the airports when they came home in their uniforms! Let it be.
@angelballs1 For you and your husband, thank you for your service and sacrifice and please tell you're husband welcome home from me. Thanks for visiting, kindest regards......Glenn
the US government shouldn't launch the war in Vietnam, it was their big mistake but I feel sorry for the US soldiers that waste their time, their life, sacrifices for nothing for the meaningless war in Vietnam. And also the vietnamese soldiers who fight to protect their country from the invasion of the US and of course lots of people sacrifice themselves, also in my family, 5 going on military service and nobody back :'(
I'm from Vietnam, but I feel sorry for the US and rest in peace, soldiers
Thanks so much for viewing and taking the time to comment. I prefer not to talk politics but there was tragedy to all involved, both sides and those caught in the middle. God's peace to you and your family

I played this, and could not hold back the tears. I was very young during this time, but it still leaves one of the biggest scars. For those fallen...we won't forget, and for those who came home(from all the conflicts) thank you for your service.

This ! Break my heart ! This ! Shoot me down ! But, This ! Make me See the All Hungry Childs ! They Are hungry ! NOW ! Dieing........slowly! In pain !Without bread ! They Need Your Help ! & my too ! So,.... Well, LET THERE BE LIGHT ! Let There Be Peace ! Let There Be Love ! To the All ! & to you ! ( : - )
Awesome. Impressive. Deep. A reminder to take nothing for granted- not even one day. Every song that you put pictures with as a tribute to soldiers in Viet Nam is wonderful. Puts everything in perspective. LB
