  • Thank you Somewheremaybe for uploading this video. It deeply touched my heart. I pray that each of our soldiers who have passed away will rest In peace. I am grateful that they loved our Country so much, that they laid their lives down for us all. I pray that God will hold all of them in the bosoms of his arms....Peace be with you.

  • @MultiCalculus God's peace to you, I hope you find some comfort.....kindly!

  • @Somewheremaybe thank you

  • I cried..hard. It makes me so sad to think of all the soldiers that die without Christ, where will they go?? I want to get the message of Jesus to them somehow.

  • @Emilyheartshim Thanks for visiting Emily!

  • @Emilyheartshim I know how you feel. I believe in God's mercy. Remember that his mercy is everlasting to everlasting. The Bible also states that love covers over a multitude of Sin. Also keep in mind, that Jesus Christ laid down his life for the righteous and the unrighteous. even Though we can't know where those soldiers and others who die without Christ will go, I think it wouldn't hurt to pray for the many who have passed away. You never know...God bless you & peace be with you.

  • @outerspaceoutpost If I were to pray for them I would pray for the ones still alive. I'm sorry to say but there is no hope beyond the grave if you have passed on without Christ.

  • @Emilyheartshim Well, I suppose all we could hope for is that perhaps they had family and friends who were believers that prayed for them while they were still living. Something will learn when we are called home...God Bless you always.

  • Господи, храни USA, оплот цивилизации! Великая нация всех народов мира!

  • i think of my dear grandma who lost her husband in ww1 and her son in ww2...she never complained or protested, but she is with themboth again in heaven, surely ..along with her other son, my father who died very young.

God Love you, all our men and women in harms way.

  • @lulielawry Thank you for your sentiments and for your families service and sacrifice!

  • I always visit you here with great pleasure. In this mad world I found an island of peace. Thank you, Glenn. God bless you!

  • @sabian2k7 How nice of you Sandman, thanks for visiting!

  • I dont know how 3 people can dislike this! They must be heartless

  • @MultiCalculus Thank you Sarah! Take good care!

  • This is absolutely beautiful and sorrowful at the same time. I lost a very close friend in Vietnam, and I miss him every day. This is a wonderful tribute to the men and women who never received their proper thanks. I"ll be pasing along the link. Thank you, God bless you -- and God bless all of our soldiers and vets, and keep them safe from harm.

  • @LoneStarStateOfMine Thanks so much for your sentiments, take care!

  • my brother served 3 yrs in the Army '59 - 62, with a yr in Turkey near Russian border, security/communications, was on radio when Gary Powers plane was shot down cld hear some of back and forth. Then a yr at Fort Bragg.... when he came home my father met him at cellar entrance to house, he said "I just missed 'Nam dad.

  • @bon1042 Thanks for visiting, take care!

  • Always with pleasure, Glenn. Here, at your "place" is a very peaceful place to come over and over.

Have a nice day, my friend.

  • Everytime when I heard this song I cry. Very nice clip you've made, Glenn. Very emotional.

  • @sabian2k7 Hey Sandman, so nice to hear from you. Thanks for visiting my friend!.......Glenn

  • Look at what your hatred and greed has done humans. Lust for power and control. Descrimination mixed with all sorts of vile things. The human race shouls be ashaimed of themselves. Now we fight for minerals and oil rights in the east. If anyone brings war to me and endangers my family, I would have to blow your chest strait out your back..... Great Video...........Tearjerker

  • It is so nice to see the soldiers who served in Vietnam finally get the respect they deserved. They put their lives on the line for the freedom of others and many (like my older brother) were called "baby killers" when they got home. It is too bad that he passed away several years ago of a brain tumor before he got to see tributes like this on You Tube. Thank you for posting this beautifully done video.

  • @Johnel83 Thanks John, so sorry for the loss of your brother, and thank your brother and you and your family for your service. God's peace to you !

  • RIP my lovely brother. I miss you...

  • @TheCrankCore I hope you have found some comfort, God's peace to you!

  • Somewheremaybe WOW! CRYING CRYING......GOD BLESS OUR SOLDERS

  • @LaDyCrIsTiAnAtx And God bless you too!

  • I am still there in the night, every night, 42 years. Proud of the guys I served with. Wanting to be on the Wall with my brothers. Putting my hand on that cold marble I feel their's. Someday I will sit at the tree and be with them again. Some day.

  • @chuckcoster Welcome home and thank you for your service and sacrifice.. Hope you and your loved ones enjoy the holidays. Take care!

  • @chuckcoster

I feel for you my brother. I know you not. But know I love you. Try not to long for death. Live, live for them. Let them say to you when its all over. "thanks for letting us experience that with you for we never left your side". You got a friend in me BROTHER.

  • המילים של השיר נוגעות בכל אדם שאיבד מישהו אי פעם בחייו

יכולתי בקלות להזדהות עם השיר ועם התמונות העצובות והאמיתיות האלו...

    dana

  • Thank you and I thank them. God bless.

  • @BJane58 Thanks for visiting BJane58, have a great week ahead......Glenn

  • I come back here all over again, because this song is so sad, so nice and Glenn did a little masterpiece.

    Warmest greetings for you, Glenn!

  • @sabian2k7 Thank you Sandman, you are such a good man. I have a new one coming out in a day or two, hope you'll enjoy, warmest regards......Glenn

  • Somewheremaybe, you honor us with this. Not just those who died, but those of us who lived.........and must still live with the memories. Thank you so much for this.

  • @young95 Thank you young95, if you are a vet, thank you for your service and sacrifice and welcome home....kindest regards.....Glenn

  • My husband was in the 4th Division and the 101st, I guess up in the highlands. He was also at Hamburger Hill and I guess that's why he's never watched those movies.

  • @angelballs1 Probably a good idea

  • Understandable, I will be 60 in July and my husband will be 62 in June. Where were you and what did you do? I live in Buffalo, NY.

  • I am curious, Glenn - how old are you. You seem wise beyond your years.

  • @angelballs1 I am 61 ,was in Vietnam

  • Thanks, Glenn, your comments mean the world to me. You are truly a nice person!

  • @angelballs1 So are you, I am honored to make your friendship

  • My husband was there but came home safely in body, but not in spirit. He doesn't speak of it too often, still has a nervous stomach - too proud to admit it's PTSD. I'm betting there are a lot of those 60 year olds nowadays that still remember and don't complain about the politics. They just went when they were called and got yelled at in the airports when they came home in their uniforms! Let it be.

  • @angelballs1 For you and your husband, thank you for your service and sacrifice and please tell you're husband welcome home from me. Thanks for visiting, kindest regards......Glenn

  • rip grandpa your life will not be forgoten

  • take good care Kasey

  • thx

    :)

  • RIP Chris...you threw your life away while others fight just to be alive

  • the US government shouldn't launch the war in Vietnam, it was their big mistake but I feel sorry for the US soldiers that waste their time, their life, sacrifices for nothing for the meaningless war in Vietnam. And also the vietnamese soldiers who fight to protect their country from the invasion of the US and of course lots of people sacrifice themselves, also in my family, 5 going on military service and nobody back :'(

I'm from Vietnam, but I feel sorry for the US and rest in peace, soldiers

  • Thanks so much for viewing and taking the time to comment. I prefer not to talk politics but there was tragedy to all involved, both sides and those caught in the middle. God's peace to you and your family

  • this video is so touching thanks for posting it a lot of my family has been in the military. actually one of my family members is in the statue at 1:14

  • Thank you and your family for your service and sacrifice, God's peace to you all

  • @Nekhet yeah I belive so.

  • I could not hold back the tears.

    Very sad song.

  • Thank you for your touching comments sabian2K7, warmest regards from the USA

  • I played this, and could not hold back the tears. I was very young during this time, but it still leaves one of the biggest scars. For those fallen...we won't forget, and for those who came home(from all the conflicts) thank you for your service.
