I like that shes a strong woman. But she was just so horrible to Kriemhild. I dont think she knew that Kriemhild bewitched Siegfried, so she must have been jealous (understandingly) but she didnt need to be so horrible to her, like the church scene etc. And she was horrible to Gunther as well even though she didnt know he cheated to marry her. She agreed to marry him

Would you say that Kriemhild was meant to be a likable character or sort of a good intentioned villain lol.

I much prefer Kriemhild, even though she's like kind of bad because she bewitched him. She seems nice apart from that, and i feel bad for her because she feels guilty and its really unrequited love.

Kristanna Loken makes the movie watchable over and over she plays Queen of Iceland perfect the way her eyes glow light blue/green with ting of silver/white its hard to take your eyes of her but theres only one thing i hated about the movie was the end why could zigfrig love overpower the potion and then marry brunhild and live happy but its baased on a legend so yah but its a bueatiful movie loved it

Actually, Tolkien got most of his inspiration for LOTR from Norse, Celtic, Germanic and Slavic myths like this one based on the Ring of the Nibelung Cycle. So did Herbert who wrote Dune and Lucas who wrote Star wars.

The Ring of the Nibelung. It was released just last year on the Sci-Fi Channel. It was a made-for-TV movie. I missed it as well, but it was supposedly good. It's based off the Norse epic poem, and Wagner (a German composer) wrote an entire symphony dedicated to it. Hope that helps...
