That would be great if they add a feature where if your an assassin you can grab people and use them as shields. I think that would add an extreme amount more fun to the game. who knows they may have it.
I like extra gameplay touches like that but I'm sure they've already thought about it and decided it wasn't fun or didn't work. Who knows, maybe it is in the game? Wouldn't hurt to search their boards to see if that has been brought up or to post or contact them yourself.

plus aoc has a completely different crowd, wow is about 80% pve 20% pve, conan is about 75% pvp 25% pve, they are going for the face paced pvp gamers not the roleplaying raiders that wow has, although conan has rp servers.
Even more so is that the game is based off of the books written in the 1930's, so you know the lore isn't just going to be changed as someone thinks of it like WoW. There is a set standard for how the story unfolds, and nothing is going to seem "out of place" like space ships crash landing and stuff.

the battle syste is wicked, its all about skills, and EVERY player, has it own uniq way of fighting, and u actualy have to fight them, to learn the way THAT guy play, like, if you cut slash someone from the left, and ur oponent does the same only in defencive mode, he will parry your attack with the sword, thats awsome to think about, the battle system in AoC is going to be reveutionary, its new, and its kick ass! :D GO AGE OF CONAN!!!
The blood is nice.. Funcom made the blood for their fans who really liked having blood splattered all over the place. Funcom made it ADJUSTABLE, so you can turn it up or down.. I've seen more blood from a single blow ;)
I love WoW's graphics, they are cartoony, but they are extremely arty and creative. The graphics for this game look ok, it's definitely supposed to be more realistic and I think I'll appreciate the cities in this game - but I doubt anything will touch on how great WoW is for years, it is just superbly designed. Will check this game out when it comes out just for something fresh.
They said the game is going to be incredibly customizable so you can optimize it for your machine. I am sure you can turn things down like blood spray and such!
also, is there a way to turn down the sheer size of the blood spray? it seems like a bit too much and itll help with the stress on the graphics a bit more. and plus, you cant have huge sprays every time you get hurt.

its going to use dx10 which is a much more efficient graphic system than dx9, it utilizes the graphics in a way never done before, so u get better graphics while still being less demanding. But even so if you dont have a kickass graphic card now, u prob gotta upgrade.
its using both dx9 and dx10, depending on if you are using vista or xp. Dx10 has the same efficency but MUCH better grapix. Only minus is that you need vista...

A decent graphics card costs 100 dollars, get a job if you're old enough. Saying it's better then a 360 is a matter of opinion, the gameplay probably will be better then the PC but you can hook your Xbox 360 controller with a USB to your computer.

Did you watch the vid? Blood isn't the only thing that's new. Much of the underlying system they haven't revealed yet, so you can't judge much out it. Vids are pretty much the only thing the community has to go on and so far it looks good.
there is still going to be the Anarchy Online vs. Age of Conan because they are made by the same company and both VERY UNIQUE games, also... to dodge attacks, you have to actually move out of the way :D and if the enemy attack the same direction you're dodging... well, then you get hit... but you can also block with shields and even your sword to stop another sword. very unique anti-WoW anti-EQ MMORPG :) FunCom ftw!
damm this game is so look a like from world of warcraft only a new spell system and better detailed so what WOW TBC is coming out (hmm... thinking fo WoW TBC * age of conan) ..if i had the money ^^..
