We still have those old 8mm home movies in my brother's garage. I put some on VHS, and they are posted on my wife's owlydog channel. I will share this with her, I know she will like it. She loves Ghoulardi too. I recently got a 16mm Filmosound from ebay. I also have some 8mm and super 8 projectors. Film is fun, I may look for a 16mm cam to try stop motion and time lapse. I had an old B&H camera, but cannot find it?
your very lucky to have these memories on film. my parents had the 8mm and a old camera. but ,never filmed anything. the only 8mm films they have (i converted to dvd) are from vacations they took alone . and most of them are places.i take hundreds of pics and video of my kids. so they won't be like me and have nothing. thanks for sharing
You are very welcome. It's so great that you take many pictures and videos of your kids. They will certainly treasure them in years to come. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks John. I enjoy watching old home movies myself. I hope you put some of your own family on. I had this video in before but a viewer alerted me to the fact that it had a black screen and only audio. This has happened to a few of my videos and I have been having it happen sometimes with uploading videos also. But I'm glad to have it in again with full picture and audio. Thanks again. Your comments are always appreciated!
"Four heads instead of two". Hmm you must have been referring to your VCR am I right? Paul, I was transfixed on that pedal car until in came rolling Mr. Machine. "Here he comes, here he comes, greatest toy you've ever seen, and his name is, Mr. Machine...". I have the reissue of the original made by Ideal. The reissue also by Ideal was made using the original molds. The old TV is cool too! Great video! Don't you wish you had that pedal car now?
LOL, yep I was referring to the camera talking to my dad in the video. So cool you have a reissue of the Mr. Machine. I wish I still had mine. But I actually still have the rocking horse in the original box and will be doing a video about it. As for the pedal car, I threw it out in 1986. What an idiot, huh? It sure would be sentimental now to have that. Anyway, thanks so much for commenting on and watching this video. It is always very appreciated!
Thanks a bunch . Don't have but like 3 min s of movies from my youth so this helps a lot. I was about that age in 1962
